Very fortunate for the current generation to experience a night's stay at this palace attached to the fort. Very very big rooms and excellent service by the staff. Very good food and service. Special mention of Gopal (Supervisor) and Gopal the Food service person. Spectacular view of the Palace itself as well as dining room, tennis court, sitting areas and antique collections and more. Very competitively priced and cannot go wrong with this choice if Rooms are available. Very close to Ajmer and Pushkar. Dont miss the peacocks in the morning ! Visited in November when the morning weather is gorgeous ! Very Very quite in the mornings

This place is amazing! I was here recently with Veg Voyages and Veg News on a tour group and really enjoyed it. Every room is different and charming, mine was super spacious and dark and quiet, just like I like it! There were lots of great areas to explore on the property and the views of the village area from the upper courtyard were wonderful. The food was great, staff was helpful and would definitely recommend. My only complaint was the wi-fi - it was only available near the dining room and was very inconsistent even there. especially when more than a couple of people were trying to access it. With the thick walls it is difficult to get a good signal so perhaps placing a modem/dongle in each room as well as the common areas would be a better solution?

This fort/palace is absolutely gorgeous!! We stayed here on a tour of India with VegNews and VegVoyages. The building itself is beautiful, and the grounds its built on is gorgeous as well. It overlooks a small village for great views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the vegan food was delicious. Walk around the small village before sundown next to the fort and youll meet friendly locals and children and enjoy the beautiful views of the village itself.

If youve never stayed in a palace, or a fort, this might be the experience for you! A hotel in what was once a palace, created with minimum disturbance to the original building, is obviously going to be quirky and characterful. It is not a modern four-star hotel, by any means! However if you fine-tine your expectations accordingly, you will not be disappointed. Attentive staff, and a good Indian buffet for dinner, if you fancy several tasty dishes at one go. Worth a visit!

Roopangarh fort is a treat to the eyes I have been to roopangarh total of 3 times . It is a beautiful property well maintained . The entrance gate is huge as soon as you step in you will meet the managers and the staffs . They are very polite and humble . They will show you all the rooms unbooked rooms so you will have more choices for selection each room looks different from another . All the rooms are big with big bathrooms attached to it . Dinner area is really big you can order whatever you wish to eat they will ask you in the noon time what ever you wish to eat so that they can bring the fresh ingredients from market . The food here is always delicious . They have a big terrace where you can relax and talk with your friends . As it is situated in a small town you won't have any noise from streets and vehicles . As a tourist you can visit the local houses and the market not much to do though . But if you want some peaceful time you must visit this fort and can feel how the real Maharaja haveli looks and feels like . I will be going back there this October .
