Beautiful property managed by unprofessional. Total lack of interest towards guests. Worst star property that I have ever stayed in. They ruined a family get together with their poor service standards.

Experience the immaculate hospitality of The Gateway Taj, here at Pushkar Bypass Ajmer, which resonates the rich history, embellished cultures, colourful traditions and festive customs of Rajasthan. Take your time exploring the exquisite regional cuisine and local delicacies offered by the Aravali restaurant. Do try out a relaxing treat at the spa. The spa appeared to be in the process of renovation, and am looking forward to experiencing it in its complete ambience on my next trip! What made my trip even more special was that, this hotel being a destination wedding location, I got to stay amidst an ongoing beautiful local wedding celebration in all its splendour.

The resort is located on Pushkar road It has a majestic look and ambience Though it is only 5 or 6 years old the architecture is haveli style Wish they had kept some modern rules for the elderly in mind and not given it so many split levels The rooms are spacious and the washroom area likewise but the bed is too soft and downy Makes it difficult to get off There was no system of room cleaning and replenishment of tea and coffee until on request The buffet was closed in the restaurant but traditional dishes were offered like aam ki kadhi and baigan tomato which were quite delectable The pool and poolside looked good The staff is overly courteous Unfortunately it seems that for a large gathering like a conference they become understaffed This shows at the breakfast in the morning The breakfast spread is quite adequate for a hotel this size The resort carries the name of Taj Gateway but I doubt if it is part of the Taj chain If it is it is a poor reflection of the Taj culture I am a Taj Inner circle member so I ought to know

We booked at this hotel on our trip to Jaipur coming from Jodhpur. The name Taj Jai Mahal is confusing. We got a beautiful room with a nice terrace, but as soon as we were installed, we heard noisy people in the corridor packing merchandise, and this for 2 hours. Meanwhile a pump was making an awful noise in our room and the maintenance people spent a lot of time trying to fix it. You can hear everything from the other adjacent rooms !. And then we had 10 power cuts in 3 hours and therefore 10 times our very slow internet went down. To complete the picture, we were told that the hotel was not serving any alcohol as it was constructed in less than 500 hundred meters from the motorway (This is the law). The TV was not working as well. We left with great pleasure. Sorry for that as the staff are very nice there.
