It is an excellent option for stay in Allahabad. It offers pleasant service, fairly nice breakfast (complimentary for Deluxe Rooms) and great assistance with regards to travel within the city. And it is a delight for travelers who love street food; The road between the hotel and Loknath chowk is dotted with food stalls that serve variety of foods - right from Egg-Rice to Paratha Rolls, from Malaiyo to Rabri and everything to savor the taste buds. It is also very convenient that Electric Auto's are available right at the hotel gates for travel to any place around the city.

We were pleasantly surprised with the service standards of this hotel. We reached Allahabad early in the morning. They gave us early check in. They suggested we take breakfast on the same day as we had plannned to check-out early the next day. On arrival they give a list of places for sightseeing. The hotel is in old city area and didn't have parking facility. The rooms are a bit old but large with all basic amenities. We were pleasantly surprised with their buffet spread. The entire staff was very cordial. Rating it 5 star because it's a 3star hotel disguised as 2 star.

Situated in most crowded locality of Johstonganj.Hotel is clean and good.however needs renovation looking at the cost.We were given broken AC which had no sweep fins..It chilled the room entirely and we had to switch off .Room was very congested for having 3 beds .There is no parking for 4 wheeler and no hotels nearby for lunch. In house restaurant is very overpriced and not worth the money. They demanded 375 for buffet dinner. As there are no options nearby , we had some dishes ordered in our room Quantity was too less and very expensive.my suggestion OK for 1 night visit Ok if you are arriving by train and don't have a car as there is no parking space and traffic is an issue here If you could stay elsewhere, Civil lines is a decent area to stay ... better and non congested.

I stayed for 2 nights in that hotel. The hotel is located at prime location near the market. First they provide us a room which was very small & the remote of the AC was not available. Then we changed the room but still they could not provide the remote of that AC. Room service is not up to the level, many times you need to do follow up for drinking water. Front office people also not well trained with customers as well as staffs. Laundry service is available in the hotel. Complementary breakfast is very nice & lots of varieties. Overall, a average hotel within the budget.

When we arrived and we're shown to our room it all seemed ok but very dirty but then we noticed there was rat excrement everywhere in the room so l had to go back down to reception and they changed our room to a smaller just as dirty and more noisy one. Luckily it's only for 1 night. I managed to get the aircon working by having the boy come and sort it out and as there was no hot water he brought us a couple of buckets of piping hot water to shower with. TV worked and had Star movies for western films (films from Hollywood, not cowboy films specifically!) The bed was comfy and once my earplugs were in l had a good sleep. Paid Rs50 to the station in the morning with a cycle rickshaw but that was too much. Oh and the rooms look NOTHING like the photo on here! By western standards it's a bit of a dump but Allahabad is definitely worth a visit, so it had to be done
