Good ambience. The very first attraction is this resort is close to sea. It was very nice escape to Kerala. The monsoon hits every corner of Kerala. This is the best season to visit Kerala. Highly recommend this hotel.

Overall a terrible experience, very average rooms with leaks and dirt everyhere . Plus the receptionist charging you with extra because the hotel.com did not include extra service charges which i have never had with any other hotel but they insisted and i was with my parents and family so just gave in. You got to have something for the amount you charge!!! Food and restuarant very very average and poor. I would avoid this place and will not be going back there again.

Please dont ever go for this option as you have lot of good options near the beach. Horrible management and horrible service. Sleep in your car, better than staying in here. Worst food, staff not even heard of hospitality

The lady in reception and the manager, Tony, were very kind and helpful -.arranging for an early check-in after our houseboat had dripped us off at 8.30am!. The pool was good, with towels provided for the sunbeds. Other areas of the hotel require improvement. Rooms - I liked the 'bungalow' layout in pretty grounds. However, the rooms were very basic, no toiletries provided and no daily cleaning service. Breakfast - very limited and not that good. Staff on the hotel room were nice, but that doesn't compensate for poor quality food. Internet was via a modem which was slow (almost useless). The on site restaurant (not the place where breakfast is served) was quite goid - probably a little expensive by Indian standards but good quality and nice friendly staff. Also served beer . The worst thing was the CONSTRUCTION WORK directly outside the hotel. A new flyover is being built. For now it is an eyesore and an inconvenience as you need to walk through a building site to get to the beach. Once completed (2019-2020???) It will be a noisy eyesore. What a shame they are building this monstrosity so close to the beach. Footnote to India - please push the education about litter. I know you are trying, but I see educated Indian people dropping litter without a thought. This needs to change

This was my first visit to Alleppey and as I am the member of magic holidays so they gave me this resort. Pros: Sea view location. Only 50 mts to Alleppey beach. Beer and wine parlour of its own. (You rarely find liquor shop in kerala so it was blessing in dessert) Nice rooms. Capcicum restaurant offered good and tasty food. Cons: little far from back waters (4km) Difficult to get auto/cab from resort until you book in advance. Resort have pool but there in evening classes goes for locals so not easy for guest to access. No normal waters in room. You have to go for mineral water bottles through them. (Priced high) No indoor activity organised. Bathroom bit stinky and little. Overall review: good to stay 3 star rating. But if you are looking at high end hotels then this is not the one. For budget travellers it can be a good choice.
