Awesome place with private beach, nice place to hangout with friends n family. But you need to book cottage before through the phone or website. From Ankola 10km to reach via honnebele village. Very narrow n single road. Cottages are quite nice, in summer must book AC cottage. No TV at cottages but you will get free Wi-Fi facility. Nice n polite staff. For breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet available with limited option. Some time they offer complementary breakfast or dinner. If not you can order what available in menu. Opposite to cottage full of rock with beautiful view and other side beach shore very clam, While playing in beach be careful because sudden steep and no rescue team. Overall must visit place.

Pros: 1. Awesome location 2. Almost like a private and beautiful beach 3. Serene and secluded (perfect if u want to stay away from crowd) 4. Staffs are helpful. 5. Good only if u have good group of ppl or u want some lone time. 6. Not far from crowded Gokarna. 7. Need to have ur own vehicle then good access to town. Cons: 1. Food is a challenge. (Only basic available) 2. Mobile network not available (so only dependent on wifi) 3. No amenities like TV indoor Games or to keep kids occupied. 4.

We stayed over for just one night on our way to Gokarna and Murudeshwar. The staff was very helpful in figuring out the routes and timings for our journey. The food was average, nothing special. The beach is adjacent to the property and is gorgeous and pristine although the waves seemed to be quite rough.

Honey Beach cottages are located near Ankola, about 7-8 km ride off the town. There is a cemented/ tar road and lots of signposts to guide, hence no difficulty in approaching. As this is about 45-50 mins away from Gokarna, so if you are finding difficulty in getting accommodation around Om/Kudle beach during peak periods, this is well worth a try. Priced averagely, with a buffet breakfast included. The highlight is the serene, almost private beach beside the property which in my opinion was one of the most beautiful beaches around Gokarna. Coming to food, it is average and definitely there is much scope for improvement. We also tried the spa on the second day, which again was nothing remarkable. So, to sum up, the beautifully located resort is suitable for both peace-loving travellers as well as large groups, but I would recommend having a vehicle should you want to explore Gokarna for other beaches and a better wine and dine experience. Plenty of sea facing sit out area and the lovely beach will ensure that you get ample of morning and evening dose of VitaminSea.
