It's a nice cosy hotel in Aritar, east Sikim. This hotel was originally the first homestay in Aritar which became a hotel with the increase of tourist influx. It has an annex building opposite to the main building. Another annex building is under construction which is expected to open within next couple of months. Staffs are friendly. Food is also good. The owner Mrs. Geeta Pradhan is also a tour operator specialising in Silk Route. The hotel has all the basic amenities like geysers in toilets. The famous tourist attraction Aritar Lake or Lompokhri is walking distance from this hotel. Scenic beauty from the hotel room is also very good.

Stay is good, warm and moderately clean. However, the views from the rooms are not so exciting. No room service as such except serving morning tea and evening snacks. Staffs are cordial and the owner lady is co-operative and helpful. Aritar has power-cut problems so, electricity is not un-interrupted. Food options are usually limited to puri-sabji/omelette, rice-dal-sabji-chicken/egg curry, pakora-veg/chicken etc. However, if you can order in advance, depending on the availability, they may arrange for the same. Bread is not available. If you walk a little (less than 1 km), you can visit Aritar Lake and from thereon you may climb the steps to Makhim view point to see a spectacular view of Kanchanjunga in the morning. Aritar is surrounded by plenty of greenery and hills (not snow-capped). If you are not looking for spectacular view but a tranquil stay, you will be happy to visit Aritar.

aritar is a place where no one should stay. however you have to stay due to your trip through silk route. better than home stay but the hotel is very suffocating with small rooms and passages. food is ordinary but the stuff is good. never expect good service when you are visiting in season time. thanks to the owner Geeta Madam who allowed us to stay on the suite above. the suite is really fabulous. stay there is Geeta ji allows you!

I went to Aritar May 2013 with my family and Friends and stayed in hotel Aditya. Ms Geeta Pradhan is the owner of the place. The hotel Aditya is a very good place to stay. The hotel is situated at a very good location. Rooms and Bathrooms are very clean and nicely maintained. The hotel is definitely worth the price. You will get very homely atmosphere at Aditya. Food is also good. But you wont get food like resturent. You will get food like your home like alu-gobi, Chicken, Fish carry, Vendy. chowmen, rice, roti, Thukpa etc. The entire staff of the hotel was well behaved. Mrs. Geeta arranged our trip to Zuluk , Baba Mandir and Kupuk Lake. This place and the hotel is very good for family, friends and as well as for couples. I am extremely satisfied with my stay in hotel Aditya. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The place aritar is a very good place, But just for 3 to 4 days. If somebody love nature then he or she will enjoy ariter if you dont like nature then dont go to Aritar. There is nathing accept nature. The way from hotel to ariter lake is just beautiful. Room Tip: Get a room in the first floor

I went to Aritar in November 2013 with my family and stayed in hotel Aditya. Ms Geeta Pradhan is the owner of the place who showed us great hospitality. She only arranged our trip to Zuluk and Nathang Valley. The hotel is situated at a very convenient location just few minutes walk away from the Lake. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel is definitely worth the price i paid for. Quality of food is excellent. We always got hot food and the entire staff of the hotel was cordial. I am extremely satisfied with my stay in hotel Aditya. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others who want a nice cozy place to stay in the lap of the mountain.
