This hotel, near the railway station, is better known as a restaurant. There is a big hall and an upstair service. It is a pure veg hotel with different thali meals like Andhra, Bengali, North Indian and rice plates. Price hovers between 100 and 200 for a person. No special taste to rave about. Everything is ordinary including the ambience. Service is slow but the server appeared courteous. Strictly a one time visit for lunch or dinner.

We stayed here for several nights while visiting Ajanta and Ellora. We chose here, as it's near the trainstation, but there are many other hotels on this road. The hotel works on a 24 hour check in basis- so if you check in at midday, you have to check out at midday. We arrived early morning due to our train arriving early, and were very disappointed that when we asked if we could pay extra on our last day to stay til late morning, we'd have to pay for another full day! They gave us another half hour, but anymore would be charged at full rate which, fair enough is their terms, but we didn't need another full day. We thought they could charge us a reasonable fee for a few extra hours, but the Owner wouldn't budge- so we left, and sat for hours in the trainstation waiting for our train. Anyway, the rooms... Very garish decorations- the bed had an enormous headrest, with bizarre, swirly patterns! I know it's a question of taste, but I just don't get why hotels like this spend loads of money on horrible, crazy furniture, when simple and elegant would be a lot cheaper and easy on the eye! Regardless of that, the bed sheet had stains and holes in it, and the bathroom was pretty shabby to say the least. We won't be returning here.

Ordered in from this place as we had holed up at Hotel Preetam, which is right adjacent to this. It is a veg only place. As it was around 10 in the night, and these restaurants shut by 10.30, we were advised to go for the thali. So we ordered for two Punjabi Thalis. And sure enough, they arrived in less than 10 minutes. The thali consisted of 2 Butter Rotis, Palak Paneer, Chhole, Daal, Rice and 1 GulabJamun. For 110 bucks, this more than VFM. The food could have been better. Rotis weren't very soft. The Chhole was a bit too spicy. Palak Paneer was very good though. All in all, a very decent option if you want a quick but filling meal which won't burn a hole in your wallet. EDIT: Had a late evening snack from here which consisted of Onion Utappam and Butter Masala Dosa. Pretty decent but could have done with a more generous topping of butter on the Dosa.

There are many options available near railway station for a comfortable stay. Decor of rooms, bathrooms, staff, everything is negative, lacking basic amenities. There is a restaurant in the ground floor which serves okay food. Avoid
