The tents a huge and look beautiful! We went as family, with my mom and 7 yr old son. We had a 3 nights stay at the camp. The tents are furnished with cane stuff, have attached bath and running tap water. Hot water is provided in buckets within 15 mins. Dinner has variety of dishes keeping in mind theirs is a temporary setup. The food is really tasty. The manager takes special care to serve the guests, has very warm staff to support him. It rained almost all3 nights, without slightest of discomfort inside the tent. Since there is no electricity, carry enough torch lites and batteries along. The personal touch is added by the camp staff as they provide hot water bottles at night to relax your strained muscles after a day long trekk. The scenery is also beautiful around the camp. Very neat place to stay and enjoy nature.

Having visited several Sarovar Portico's properties - I was expecting a certain level of facilities - notwithstanding the status as a camp. a) Location is fabulous - just before the mess of the town comes in - great view from the tent! b) Service - is OK - not proactive, but you get the service if you ask for it c) Food - did not enjoy the food - there has to be non-veg choices - no campfires, no electricity (which on hindsight was not too bad!) d) facilities - a bit of electricity - atleast a couple of hours to charge the batteries, mobiles etc. also, a telephone would be good - no mobile signal works here - one emergency way of connecting to the outside world would be good Overall satisfied... but not delighted...
