Arrived after long drive from Khajuraho and started three days of complete attention by the staff! Located close to all park entrances. Food was tasty and accommodated our dietary needs. Clean and well kept room. Simray was our guide and driver. He could drive the bumpy roads and spot at the same time. Very knowledgeable. Adept at positioning the Jeep for best photos. Our stay here was highlight of our India trip! Highly recommend.

Arrived here from Kanha after staying at Kanha Jungle Lodge which is owned by the same family. Bandhavgarh Jungle lodge rooms were very tired with the shower area in particular very dated and feeling neglected. We were shown to our room by the naturalist and after unpacking we went to reception for tea to find that the drivers and guides in the park were on strike and we could only go in the park if we went in a parks vehicle with possibly maximum occupancy in each vehicle. We were very disappoint with this and went back to our room to discuss and decided that we wanted to leave as soon as possible and find an alternative lodge. Thankfully, with the help of James and Dimple from Kanha lodge we were able to talk to the owner and were offered alternative accommodation at Pench. (A long 7 hour drive but better than staying in a lodge which could not offer us good guiding). Dinner was very good that evening and we were well looked after by our naturist guide. The manager appeared to stay back most of the time and was not really interested in talking to us.

We came to Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge after a rapid-paced tour of several cities in Rajasthan and were so pleased to find our lodging at such a pleasant place. We were greeted by lodge staff not just on our initial arrival but each day on returning from Safari, usually with warm towels and a drink. Departures for cool morning safaris were met with blankets and hot water bottles for the open jeep ride to the park. The local naturalist was very knowledgeable, personable, and clearly communicated each day's schedule in advance. We did, in fact, see tigers during our 5 part-day safaris - as that seems to be the focus though there is lots of other wildlife to see. Honestly, we were as happy quietly watching the birds in a grassy area or watering hole as we were tracking alert calls and paw prints. Food at the lodge was tasty and plentiful. The menu was local / Indian, though there was plenty of variety and nothing too unusual for Western visitors. Drinks were always available. This is an informal jungle lodge, with guest cottages scattered about the property with an open veranda, dining area and porch, and rooftop patio available for relaxing. The lodge rooms were clean and comfortable. Our porch faced a sort of overgrown area adjacent to the property - but lodges 8 & 9 looked like they had more of a open view point. Our room was not air conditioned, but it was absolutely not an issue during our February visit - the room stayed pleasantly cool even as afternoon temperatures pushed into the upper 70s - and felt warmer in the sun. Hot water bottles were tucked in the beds when we returned after dinner to keep things comfortable on cool nights. Wifi was available at the dining room. Staff was always friendly and helpful, providing service that exceeded expectations for a "jungle lodge". Would definitely return if in the area again. Recommended.

This place has thought of each and every thing that you might need to make your jungle experience memorable. Right from the welcome drink to the point that the staff drops us of to our departing vehicle. I was here with a group of friends following the 26th Jan long weekend and stayed for 5 days. The rooms are extremely spacious and bathrooms are even bigger. Special shout out to Ayaan who was our guide and ensured that we spotted three magnificent tigers. The food here is truly something to look forward to. The entire spread is accompanied by a delicious mango pickle which is sweet and tangy. Every meal consisted of a variety of different curries followed by dessert. The little things they did like placing a hot water bag in our beds every night and ensuring that we receive a wet towel to wipe our face as soon we get back from the safari shows the level of hospitality at the resort. The property is very well located to cut down the travel time between the safari and the resort. I have already recommend the place to every one I know and if you're reading this right now make sure to get your bookings done before it's too late. #thesafarineverends

Had a wonderful stay at this lodge with my sister in February. From the second we arrived we loved it and regretted not being able to stay longer. The food was excellent, the rooms were clean and the location was breathtaking. Most notable however, were the staff who looked after us so well and treated us like we were family returning home. From the driver that waited in the freezing cold night to pick us up after our train was almost three hours late to the night watch who prepared our hot water bottle every night and made sure we felt safe. Special mention to our naturalist Ayaan who took us on two safaris and went out of his way to show us a tiger before we left. His enthusiasm in tracking the tigers and teaching us about the forest was refreshing and the passion he expressed for his work was inspiring. Overall, our stay here was comfortable, peaceful and memorable and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone wishing to explore the beautiful Indian wilderness.
