From arrival until departure the service and staff couldn't be faulted. Unfortunately suffering an allergy to onions, which can cause major problems with Indian food, not here - every meal was individually prepared for me, with different options to the rest of my party, where onions were a key ingredient! The themed cottages are superb with a/c, fan heaters, comfortable beds, TV and boiling hot showers. There are also smaller cottages and new small units. The pool is good, if a little chilly - but it is mid-winter!! Grab a bike and explore the surroundings. The safaris are something else! Morning, afternoon and an introductory evening one, all are spot on with timings - first in, last out. Our driver couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating to our needs, pointing out all sorts of animals and birds, whilst showing great knowledge of the signs to track the tigers. Overall, a wonderful experience as part of our tour around India. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. As per other reviews, the GM is the most helpful I have ever encountered and the staff a credit to him. Thank you Syna.

A very nice place to stay and its an excellent resort no doubt especially the personal touch by GM mr. Bhupinder bahl deserve applause. Even though I couldnt see any tiger , still the stay was so comfortable that made me refreshed after a long time. A village safari and bush dinner arranged by resort was also remarkable. Thanks for making it comfortable

My husband and I recently stayed at Syna on our tour of India. The rooms here are huge and very comfortable (we were lucky enough to be offered a free upgrade too!). MR Bahl the General manager of the resort was an incredibly warm and caring host- his attention to detail was second to none and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. His whole team were amazing, and all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The food - oh my the food! My husband and I definitely gained a few pounds after our short stay here! Everything was delicious- the staff were eager for us to try so many varieties of Indian food - we were always excited to see what was next! The resort itself is a little away from the main street which makes it very quiet and peaceful- the entry to Bandavargh is very close by which makes this a fantastic option. I'd highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Bandhavgarh is supposed to be the most densely tiger populated national park in India. We went in November when the forest is full green with thick undergrowth and high grass in plains. The trip was successful because we stayed at Syna Tiger Resort where every one is committed to show the guest the wild life in the area from small birds to vultures and from mongooses to the TIGER from spiders to beautiful butterflies... The resort is situated an area more than 80 acres in extent which itself is a boon to an enthusiast . The chalets are nicely done with all amenities , restaurant serving quite good food for breakfast lunch evening tea and dinner. The service is superb. Mr Bhoopinder Behl who is the general manager is ever active with warm hospitality looking it to the well being of every one. Pradeep the Naturalist is a knowledgeable person to interact and himself an experienced guide in the wild to spot animals. The open Gypsy jeeps are wonderful to travel in the bumpy winding roads in the wild and Satyendra is the most efficient driver I have ever met driving a safari jeep. We saw a variety of birds land a variety of animals and insects and my memory card got filled up with the photographs. The majestic Tigress walking along the way and through the grasslands was a breath taking sight. The Griffons flying above the fort was an awesome sight. To see the almost extinct Vultures, visiting bandhavgarh with Pradeep and Satyendra would be the best option. We would be visiting the resort again in April and may be it could be an yearly routine there after,

To start with , I had to decide Bandhavgarh vs Kanha, to show my 5 yr son a tiger in its natural habitat. Since I got a good deal on luxury escapes and reviews for Syna tiger resort were good I booked a luxury suite. Initially which room to book was dilemma since we were looking forward for a jacuzzi in the room. Syna offers 3 categories of room - cottages , theme based rooms ( most in demand), suite. When we reached the resort we were told that suite rooms weren't available as large group was staying there and we have to stay in the cottages initially and were assured of a upgrade the next day. This was a big disappointment and since I didn't want to ruin my trip we opted for the cottages after discussions with them. I assume since ours was a third party booking ( rates of which are certainly lower than their own rates ) this issue occured. I saw all the 3 categories of the room the next day before choosing the upgrade. Suite wasnt not much different than cottages except for the size and some amenities. Theme based cottages seemed the best option and we stayed at the Kerala cottage further on. Jacuzzi in all the cottages has been non operational since a few months and have been sealed segregated. So after all these disappointments I must say Mr Bahl and team did a fantastic job to take care of us. Rooms are huge , beautifully built ,be it the cottage or theme based rooms . They have a charm of their own. Food I must say is ' Lajawab' be it veg / non veg. It's a 85 acre property and one may just spend a day in the resort itself either in the swimming pool or walking / cycling around in the herbal garden or lake. We were lucky to spot tigers also in addition to deers , sambhars etc. I must thank Mr Bahl , Mr Jeetendra Shukla and the whole team in leaving no stone unturned in taking care of us inspite of initial glitches .
