Country Club Wildlife Resort is an exotic resort situated near Mangala Village. It is surrounded by the lush forests of Bandipur that are home to the most exotic fauna and flora. With the game parks of Mudumalai to the south, Nagarhole to the west and B.R Hills to the east, this region forms a vast eco-biosphere that has been protected for centuries.
Realising its unique and immense importance, especially for the preservation of the tigers, the government declared Bandipur as Project Tiger Reserve in 1973. During the stay, guests can marvel at nature, take in rejuvenating air and enjoy wildlife safari.
You can choose your accommodation from 30 Double Rooms, 18 Superior Rooms and six Deluxe Cottages. Besides attached bathroom with 24-hour supply of hot and cold water, all the rooms feature LCD television and oven.
Over and above, there is a sit-out area where guests can relax whilst enjoying picturesque views of the surrounding area. At leisure, guests can play a number of indoor games or take a dip into the swimming pool.
For their convenience, the resort offers facilities like laundry, housekeeping and room service from 7 am to 11 pm.

What's Good: The service was bad. Food was just about average. Facilities was good and no flaws in cleanliness.

What's Good: Did not get what was committed

What's Good: Location is good. Staff is polite. Food is good. But some -ves are: 1. Swiming pool was very dirty. On inquiring if it is cleaned ever, was told that it is shut for 2 days. I was there only for couple of days and my kid who was excited to use swiming pool in summer was unable to use it. 2. Understand that due to network issue phones may not get the coverage. But the room extensions were c9mpletely dead. In forest in case of emergency, it is very scary to call for hel0 8f it is dark and raining with power cut. Atleast expectation was that the reception and security numbere were functional. But it was completely dead for the time we were there. 28 to 30 April 2015. 3. They say hot water is provided 24 hrs. But the fact is it is hot only when it is sunny in tbe afternoon as the water is heated by solar system and no boilere. So no hot water early morning and after sunset or if it is cloudy. 4. Very expensive... forest safari is chargable at rs. 1250pp as against rs. 300 govt charges... only drop to gate is rs. 300pp... 1 ltr water is charges at rs. 42 which is more than double. They should not take such advantage since nothing is available 8n sourrounding. 5. Also they say credit card is accepted... but when u reach there cards are not accepted and there is no ATM nearby. Overall experience in nature was very good but there is a big gap in the amount charged and the service provided. Lot of scope of improvement to earn genuine reputation since there is not much competition in bandipur. Long way to go for CC to claim it is best... but if small things considered it is not impossible.

What's Good: The hotel is good (cheaper than the other resort options) with a wholesome experience in terms of food, stay and other amenities.

What's Good: If you have a jungle resort in mind then this is a great place to stay. You have to keep in mind that a jungle resort is never ultra luxurious. However; from a facility point of view, it was an amazing stay.

It is a huge sprawling property with lot of different types of rooms. It is situated inside a forest reserve 3kms off the main road. The rooms were decent with TV and hot water. The Resort has various sporting facilities as well. we spent time playing Cricket, Bandminton , Carrom , Chess & Billiards. The food served was good except for the deserts , it is one area they need to work upon. the Staff was really nice and helpful. they provide transport services to and from nearby places at nominal cost. We had wild visitors in our resort every evening- deers and monkeys , sometimes wild boar as well. the resort had quite a few activities planned daily for keeping the guests busy and entertained. we had a morning trek, bullock cart ride. in the evening there was a nature walk, magic show, tambola , etc.. the Resort GM Mr. Gururaj had accompanied us on a special evening safari arranged by the resort team between bandipur and madumalai , which was quite thrilling we saw lot of wild animals and heard the sounds of the forests, the guide Mr.Jhonny was a character as he had a knack of spotting animals hidden or camouflaged. My kid had developed a liking to it. It is a really nice place to spend your holidays. will be surely going back again...

It was quite a comfortable and relaxing stay. Staff was very courteous, good food, peaceful location lots of activities and the best part was their GM, who was such a creative and down to earth person that it was a complete delight to be able to spend some time with him.

We recently booked country club Bandipur for a day.. had pathetic experience with kind of facilities provided .. We were coming from Ooty and it was bad weather, so it took some extra time to reach Hotel.. we informed them in advance that we are coming but might get little late.. There was no food kept for us since we reached at 3:15.. we were group of 10 people including children. For it was regular place we would have arranged Food from outside but with no hotel etc nearby, we were dependent on ur hotel only. We had left over meal with cold breads in buffet ... Manager Mr Kumar at Hotel said he was removing left over meal also if u would have taken 5 mins more.. you guys r in hospitality, this is how we treat your guest.. if someone was my guest , I would have called them and checked when they r cmg instead of treating them this way. He said u can order paid snacks from 4 to 7. He was not doing charity , we paid for meals.. kettle were given in room but no water. Water was given at time of dinner on table , without any info that its chargeable. There was no network in hotel room, Wifi was only for lobby. restaurant wasnt serving in room.. so guest has to go to restaurant and pick tea or coffee or anything.. Hotel wasnt even clean or painted properly to give a feel of a country club hotel.. In breakfast buffet, bowls were empty and we had to wait for 15 mins to get food ... It was pathetic Experience for kind of money u guys r charging.. I will not recommend country club to anyone again..

Stayed with my family of 04 between 19 may to 22 may, 2018. This is jungle Resort. About 08 km inside Bandipur Forest. So expect all the limitations of Jungle Resort. No mobile network. No wifi. Only Resort Landline works. But they allow guest to make necessary calls free of call, which should be appreciated. Good for people, who wants to stay away from hasty urban life. During my stay Intercom wasn't working, which really let me down. I was staying in one of their Cottages, at the extreme End. Even for Small things, you have to walk all the way to reception. Can see DEERS roaming inside resort, which is amazing and really enjoyed by me and my family. Rooms/Cottages with basic amenities. But SURPRISINGLY hot water whole day. Swimming Pool though big, but dirty and not cleaned properly. Some positives are:- 1. It's joy to infact reside inside jungle with all basic amenities. 2. Food is superb with no repetition in my 04 day stay. 3. Alcohol served on MRP, which is Unique. 4. Entire staff is supportive. 5. Good activities whole day. Karaoke free of cost almost whole day. Must try Nature walk and Safari arranged in morning. In evening also, bonfire, magic show, tambola arranged. Overall all these activities keeps us engaged for whole day. In-house entertainer Mr. Menon is very good. 6. Have good play area for kids. 7. Must go on watchtower, to see nearby jungle from top of the tower, which looks beautiful. 8. Badminton Court, volleyball Court, area for playing cricket, Snooker, Carrom, chess etc are available in resort. Some negatives are:- 1. Some as mentioned above. 2. For Jungle Safari drop, they charge Rs.600/-(per family), which is more considering it is hardly at distance of 04 km. That too they won't allow to share with other family. Even if 02 family goes in 01 vehicle, there charge for 02 family, which is unfair. 3. Must keep some security persons near the Cottages situated at the extreme End near jungle for any emergency. More so when no mobile network and intercom. Overall, good and pleasant stay, considering jungle Resort. Would love to visit again.
