What's Good: Location and ambience
What needs to improve : nothing
Reason For Rating : Hotel Stay is very good. If Dinner can be given at the best price that would be awesome.

What's Good: Place
What needs to improve : Food, Service
Reason For Rating : The food was pathetic, hotel was clean but no hot water and when ever you call for room service on phone no one answers call. After 8 to 10 attempts they will pick the call. All the 5 times when I called its same. No hot water after requesting also they were not able to provide it. Food quality is dam bad.. No hotel will serve that kind of buffet dinner. I had complained and asked 3 star hotel food is this? Place is Ok near to bandipur checkpost for safari and all. I strongly recommend not to eat anything and if you are by mistake booked/going here take carry something for yourself :) I dont recommend to visit here. Others also I have stayed near by resort. Quality, place & price is best.

What's Good: Only location
What needs to improve : Not clean rooms are so small and not clean. Flush was very bad.
Reason For Rating : Too much high priced. One lunch 700 and breakfast 400. Quality of the food was not up to mark.

What's Good: Location is good. Staff is polite. Food is good. But some -ves are: 1. Swiming pool was very dirty. On inquiring if it is cleaned ever, was told that it is shut for 2 days. I was there only for couple of days and my kid who was excited to use swiming pool in summer was unable to use it. 2. Understand that due to network issue phones may not get the coverage. But the room extensions were c9mpletely dead. In forest in case of emergency, it is very scary to call for hel0 8f it is dark and raining with power cut. Atleast expectation was that the reception and security numbere were functional. But it was completely dead for the time we were there. 28 to 30 April 2015. 3. They say hot water is provided 24 hrs. But the fact is it is hot only when it is sunny in tbe afternoon as the water is heated by solar system and no boilere. So no hot water early morning and after sunset or if it is cloudy. 4. Very expensive... forest safari is chargable at rs. 1250pp as against rs. 300 govt charges... only drop to gate is rs. 300pp... 1 ltr water is charges at rs. 42 which is more than double. They should not take such advantage since nothing is available 8n sourrounding. 5. Also they say credit card is accepted... but when u reach there cards are not accepted and there is no ATM nearby. Overall experience in nature was very good but there is a big gap in the amount charged and the service provided. Lot of scope of improvement to earn genuine reputation since there is not much competition in bandipur. Long way to go for CC to claim it is best... but if small things considered it is not impossible.

What's Good: The hotel is good (cheaper than the other resort options) with a wholesome experience in terms of food, stay and other amenities.

What's Good: If you have a jungle resort in mind then this is a great place to stay. You have to keep in mind that a jungle resort is never ultra luxurious. However; from a facility point of view, it was an amazing stay.

We had visited this resort 2 times earlier 9 years ago. The resort had good rooms and they maintained the cleanliness then. This time we visited it with 2 kids and we had the worst experience ever. Firstly they gave us a match box size room . It had a bunk bed which made noise and we couldn't sleep the entire night. We made our kid sleep on the double bed and she fell down in the night . Horror no1. Horror no2 comes the food. It's expensive and taste less. Buffet breakfast is ok. For 400 RS breakfast there are no fruits provided. Ala carte was very bad. We ate out for the rest of the days. Horror no 3. Rooms had mosquitos and other crawlies. Bathroom is the dirtest. The only good thing is the location and watch tower. Staff is courteous enough. But even they can't help us much given the bad management. Lastly my kid developed fever after visiting the place. Not blaming the place , could be the hot weather. But in the past 10 years this is our worst trip. Hope this review helps the resort to improve itself . This was our favourite place as we cherish many memories with family here.

Am a member of country club for past 10 years and we had visited Bandipur in the past as well. There is no ala carte menu available in the resort and no one tells about that during booking .Later during the stay there is only one option of Buffet for breakfast / Lunch / Dinner which are charged at exorbitant price and if we ask for any food options bundled the front office guys will tell that it needs be chosen during booking which is lesser than we pay about rs. 700 per buffet for lunch and dinner. Even members don't have the option to choose the plan once you checked in the resort. There is no proper response for our query if we raise it as a concern. The buffet is not worth it for whatever price we pay. They tell lame excuses that the resort is crowded and hence they can't give a la carte to guest. It is better to avoid this resort and look for a better alternate.

Whenever I plan a holiday the first place coming to my mind is Country Club resort at Bandipur. It is just 3-4 kms away from Bandipur National Parl. Good rooms, more than anything very good and kind staff (they have been trained to take best care of the guests, good facilities like beatiful pool, Bon fire, Karaoke, Indoor Games, Outdoor games and more than anything flexibility. Of course, there are area of improvement like in case of any other 5 star resort as well. This was my 15th or 16th stay there. Visiting at least once in a year regularly. Would like to take some names like Mr.Kumar at reception, Mr. Kumar -Canteen incharge, another Kumar and many many people who are very kind. Food variety and Quality is also good, with the GM himself taking care of the recipes also. Thanks Mr. Gururaj Acharya, the dynamic GM. It is like my HOME. Dont feel stranger here.
