WoW.... Drove all the way from Chennai to Dhoel's Den, Stayed here with 2 kids for 3 nights overall, 2 nights were in Garden Mansion and one night in Habitat Double. Garden Mansion is very big villa designed in taste with open shower and 2 big bedroom with spacious balcony. Habitat Double is quite good and spacious. All 3 meals with snacks and coffee in the evening were severed in good scenic hall. Food is Very good in taste not too spicy and hygiene. Menu is mixed of both of Veg and Non-veg combination of south and north Indian buffet. My kids does not have any problem in food and drink, they loved to eat here. We spend leisure time in bird watching, camp fire, tribal trip and tea trip all comes with the package. Girish helped us to educate about birds, nearby village culture and wild life. He is locality so knows each and every nook an coroner of this place. Resort will arrange badipur forest safari, we were able to saw tiger, elephant, deers, mongoose, wild dogs, peacock and peahens. Whole Dhoel's Den team from front office to kitchen were very good and willing to help you in anything you ask. Im mentioning very few here Mahesh, Neenja Shetty, Dharnesh, Girisha and kiran were always in smiling face and very kind to help us. While return back to home Girish told us a leopard was sleeping on a tree on the way to bandipur forest office to this resort. He pointed us few clues to locate at the end were able to the leopard sleeping on the tree. Which is icing on the cake. My wife and kids enjoyed like anything. Easy and quick drive to near by mudumalai national park and masinagudi.. I definite recommend this place to family, bachelors, newly married couples and everyone.

Property is good with spacious bungalows but very low level of maintenance. Found lot of insects in the room and outnumbered lizards. The property is full of uncontrollable levels of bushes and a pond surrounded by loads of bushes. Overall the property is big but not clean at all with lot of unsafety. Earlier we stayed in dubare or kabini govt resorts and they were also amidst the jungle but very clean and maintained property. Here it was never the case. None can't even have a safe walk within the property after evening. Regarding the food it seems they have an organic farm, from where they will bring vegetables. However eventually they will force you to eat those vegetables only as other vegetables they have to buy. There were hardly any nonveg dishes which was disappointing for me as a nonveg lover. So, the variety of food was not there either in the complimentary buffet nor in extra menu. Also you will get dessert only once ( so either one gulab jamun, or half bowl of payasam). While I would appreciate every service man over there ( they were really helpful specially when I went with our one year old son), the major issue was with the owner. We went in the eve of Christmas so expected some cakes which they will keep at buffet menu. However the owner asked the kitchen staff to prepare cake in front of all guests and took it upstairs where he stays with his wife ( with champagne) :). That is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my life. Also they will talk about carbon footprint everywhere (for example they don't give nonveg and mineral water bottles to the guests), but they will give you so many papers of advertisement (even advertisement of other hotels in Mysore), that you will forget the definition of carbon footprints. So overall, resort is good, service is bad although the men were good, maintenance is worse, owner is the worst.
