  • Namesake Wifi

    by RajshreeD15 on

Though in the posh area, it doesn't have strong wifi and also doesn't catch mobile signals. So if in trouble you won't be able to call or get calls from near and dear ones. You have to go outside the hotel to talk to someone.

  • Simple, Basic, Effective...!

Stayed for 5 nights in June '16 for an office visit. The property is easy enough to locate on Google Maps, although the signage is tiny and easy to miss. The room was good enough, clean & spacious. Breakfast was tasty, and a different dish everyday. The only issues I faced was no hot water, and back-ache from the really hard mattress.

  • A very comfortable stay in a big room

The location of the hotel is excellent with a lot of restaurants in the area. The room was big and clean with all the basic stuff present. The behavior of the hotel staff was very nice and even the breakfast provided was pretty good. This hotel is a very sensible choice given the tariff and the quality of service provided.

  • Affordable, Clean and great location

    by Lalitha M on

The hotel is located in a great location which is lined with lots of restaurants on both sides. Located in Koramangala it is also close to Forum Mall. The room was clean and quite comfortable. The room was cleaned and towels replaced everyday. Mr. Ranjan , in the reception was very helpful, when we asked for anything, it was arranged immediately. The breakfast is complimentary, unlimited and hot dosas/parathas etc are served along with fruits and tea/coffee ie the menu keeps changing each day, but only one dish would be available. Orders for lunch and dinner has to be placed in advance. Since there were plenty of eat outs we preferred that. Free Wifi is available. Electric kettle, tea bags, coffee sachets, etc is available in the room. Staff are polite.

  • Ok for short stay

Am currently staying here (Jan 2014) since a week and will be here for another. Missed some things, that were not provided (having experienced them at other Compact hotels), like - Toothbrush kit, Shaving Kit, TV is too small (19 inch LCD for a big room - very uncomfortable to watch), no locks for wardrobe, no safe, no force in bathroom tap/shower, stiff bed. Would advise you to not leave anything lying around when you move out during room cleaning. I had a rather strange experience, having lost an item as trivial as a nail-clipper, which was the only thing I left unlocked. Breakfast options are decent, but for lunch or dinner at this place you have to order as early as 10am and 5pm respectively. Apart from this, its a good combination of hotel cum serviced apartment as someone mentioned. Also, lots of eating options around, and walkable to Forum Mall (15 mins). Compact Lotus Suites is a better option to this one from Compact, the only negative being - eating out is a longer walk.

  • Rooms on the 3rd floor are really big. Much larger than the ones on the ground floor.

  • Avoid rooms on the side of the lift, theres a building right next to the window, You will end up keeping all curtains closed.
