Recently we had a function in kandi tree hall... the first time we visited to make a booking the staff, inclusive of the manager were so appeasing , they spoke so well that anyone would fall prey to their trap. Looking at the hall and listening to the management's self praise we booked the hall . They agreed to co -operate and arrange things according to us during the time of booking, but on the day of function,the scenewas completely different, these were the things that totally dissapointed us and shamed us in front of guests : 1.We were told we would get 2 rooms prior to function and when we approacehed the manager on the given time, he yelled at us and rudely asked us to wait untill the room was given. Untill they wanted a booking their speech seemed sweeter than nectar and now the tone seens so harsh as if we were asking a favour. 2. The food served was not even what we had ordered out of the given menu. Only 3 items were according to the list we gave and the rest looked like the choice they made. 3. They served scarcely no one has eaten satisfactorily eg daal served was just equivalent to 2 teaspoons , paneer gravy just a small spoon with not more than 1 piece served per person ..so after every 3 bites each guest having food , had to call the person serving , to serve some more , this way they served less and people got annoyed and prefered to eat what was served and walk out. 4. They would serve an item in one row and skip serving in the other , in this way they saved alot of food. They mislead us completely, when we went to have dinner in the end , thats when we started asking then for items as we recalled what items we had ordered , thats when the managements guys started getting items and they even told its getteing ready at 10 30 in the night. 5.The hall didnt even have a music player , when we booked they assured of arranging a cd player and give us assistance .. but finally we landed up playing songs in our mobile .. how awful can it be in front of guests. With all this, they annoyed all guests to the fullest and charged us fully for the worst ever service in the mame of hospitality . Im sure this would have been the plight of many who would have performed functions here, so please beware of these cheaters. Think twice before you get cheated like how we got. .

We stayed for a day .the rooms are good .it is centrally located and hence very convenient.restaurant service needs improvement .very slow during mid week lunch time.buffet is stopped and it is expensive.

I stayed at Kandi Tree hotel for my business trip for 7 days (7th January to 13th January 2018). First, the good part the rooms are spacious and clean and the location is good. Now coming to my experience which unfortunately was not great. A hotel of this class should have much better service quality. The day I checked in I was given a room upgrade, however, I went to the room allotted unassisted and I found the room key not working. I had to go down to the reception and then the front desk person accompanied me to the room. But to my horror, the room was not clean and was probably being used or had been used recently and was not made ready by the staff. I waited for 10-15 minutes and was shifted to another room. I needed, few hangars and the complimentary tea/coffee needed replenishment (as they had not properly filled up the case). But when I called room service, no one answered. Then I called house keeping, still no one answered and finally I called the reception and guess what, no one answered. I was too tired to go down again and request for the above hence I did not pursue the same. Similar experience awaited the next day. I called up the room service and fortunately this time they answered. I asked for a plate and spoon, which took a long time to get delivered, so I called up the house-keeping, and surprisingly they too answered but when I told the person of my requirement he asked me to call room service. I told him that I had already called and was waiting for the delivery to which he rudely answered that he cannot do anything and hung up!!!!!!! Another, strange thing I found was that although the hotel has a functional roof top restaurant, there was no menu kept in the room. When I asked for it, they said the hotel does not have the policy of keeping menu in the rooms!!!!! Finally, however, they did keep one as I had requested one of the service boys to do so. Coming to the complimentary breakfast- The spread is very limited and is the same every day. A business hotel of this standard should have better spread with variety. Hotels of lower grade provide better variety for the breakfast. However, the quality of food was good. Here again, the service provided at the roof top restaurant can be improved a lot! Again, anything asked for (a request for a spoon to water) took a lot of time. Hence my last comment would be that the hotel seems to be understaffed and there is a lack of training for the existing staff. Overall, a stay which was filled up with hiccups not expected out of hotel of this class. I do intend to stay again in this hotel and I hope the lacunae I highlighted here is taken notice of and better experience await customers like me in the future!

I had my daughter`s Naming Ceremony 2 weeks before at this banquet hall. Hall was looking good and hence I made advance booking 2 months before with Mr.Sebastian, who promised us with wonderful service. But turned out to be a worst service I had never experienced. While booking Sebasitan has promised us to provide dining hall in the ground floor and assured us even if the people count increases, he will make sure there won`t be any shortage in the food served to our guests. I had reserved for 150 people, fortunately/unexpectedly 265 people have attended the event. First worst experience was, dining hall was very small because of which our guests had to wait for longer time and second worst thing was the food was not served uniformly, some of the batches missed many of the food items. On top of this, sabastian never turned up during the event, hence had no chance to raise the issue with him duing the event. And his staff were not at all aware of what he had promised us, which resulted in great embrassment in front of our guests.
