My mother aged 84 years, my wife & I had booked two deluxe rooms in this resort for two nights from 2-4-2015 to 4-4-2015. We were a little disappointed when we had to wade through almost 2 kms of katcha road which is fit only for jeeps & definitely not for sedans. When we checked in however, we were happy to find the rooms clean & well maintained. The staff & managers were also very courteous & helpful. Food was also tasty although there were no fresh vegetables to pluck as claimed in the website. The natural swimming pool was a disappointment. Although technically the water which is supposed to be cleaned by the weeds may be safe, it looks very dirty with all the leaves & other dirt floating on the surface. Then we found thousands of tiny fish in the pool which nibble away your skin even if you put your feet in the water. It needs a lot of courage to venture into this pool. The main problem was however when we found the rooms to be very uncomfortable because of the hot climate & the fans in the rooms were of no help since the hot air was blown by these fans even in the middle of the night. There are hardly any trees in the property & this resort is surrounded by miles & miles of dry land without much greenery. The claim that the rooms are naturally cooled is not true. They don't even have air coolers in these summer months. We just could not get any sleep in the first night & although we had paid for the second night, we checked out since we were not prepared for any more torture in this hot climate.

    by Nisha M on August 1, 2017

Hey we happened to stay in Our Native village and experienced the best village life and excellent staff and management . Loved all the activities ...thanks to raja....who made us experience village games. Very good food ......especially the chef srinivas for his tasty chicken noodles ...it was mind blowing my son relished it .overall we loved every bit of the place staff, food ,cleandliness, friendliness, and everything .complete satisfaction of a peacefull and rejunuvating and refreshing holiday... Cant wait to visit them again .

  • Nice place to have village like experience

by nicescorp on July 29, 2017

Had a nice time in the last week of july. My 3 year old son enjoyed the open space, gilli danda, bicycle ride, kite flying, pottery, bullock cart ride, milking etc. The food was decent but service was excellent. The staff was very helpful as there were some families with kids and staff did their best to take care of kids needs. The resort is quite isolated from any traffic or any city crowd so we had relaxing time.

  • Nice family outing

    by shakya_arun on July 21, 2017

We wanted to give our son an experience of village set up with farm animals etc. Our Native Village being close to Bangalore, we choose for couple of days outing there. My son loved it there. He enjoyed the bullock cart ride, seeing farm animals. He even tried milking the cow. The rooms had traditional styling. It was pleasant and different experience. Food was average. Due to little windy weather, we couldn't take a plunge in the swimming pool. We enjoyed the night time sitting by the pool, listening to frogs and insects sound and peaceful and calm all around. Overall it was fun package.

  • Place is good but need a lot of improvement with new management.

    by Kunti K on July 17, 2017

This was our 3rd visit to this place, we loved this place in our last two visits this time also it was fun but disappointed in few things. 1 There is change in management , its no more under Mr. Ram 2 Pricing : what rates where informed over the phone they charged more then that, they over charged us and try to remit that with Organic vegetables. 3. Place : They did lot of advertise on Farmers market and pet day and all that but they were over booked and there where 3 bus load people till lunch time, they would have avoided this announcement if they were overbooked, one dont have scope of returning back when travel till there 4. Food : Buffet lunch was below average, no taste in subji or dal and limited supply on salad and rotis. 5. Activities : that was the best part, Mr Raja kept us busy all activity and we had fun with other families who were visiting for Day. New management has to learn a lot this is one of the good place based on the location and our kids hardly get to play all this games and have fun nature.

  • Amazing place for a earthy experience especially for kids

by SrinivasGajawada on July 13, 2017

My family and I stayed for 2 nights at this place in June. It was a great and different experience based on the theme of the resort.. It truly gives the forgotten village experience and my young kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay with all forgotten games and activities like bullock cart ride, pottery making, kite flying, playing gilli danda, cow milking etc., Rooms - Rooms are very clean and tidy. Nice make up and no TV!! ( a blessing). They even gave an extra bed at no cost for my elder son (5 yrs). Very tastefully done decor Service - The highlight of the stay is the service. Excellent in all aspects and they take care of every need of yours with a warm smile. It makes all the difference when service is top notch. They took care of my young son's needs like milk etc., with a smile The person handling entertainment activities was very good and ensured everyone had a very good time.. Food - I must say food quality was ok..can be improved a lot. They need to somehow handle flies in the restaurant Overall it was a very pleasant experience and is good for one night. Two nights can sometimes become long and boring..

  • Expect a village like atmosphere there, if you are looking for 5 star amenities in ONV then this place might not be a good place for you.
