What's Good: My mother aged 84 years, my wife & I had booked two deluxe rooms in this resort for two nights from 2-4-2015 to 4-4-2015. We were a little disappointed when we had to wade through almost 2 kms of katcha road which is fit only for jeeps & definitely not for sedans. When we checked in however, we were happy to find the rooms clean & well maintained. The staff & managers were also very courteous & helpful. Food was also tasty although there were no fresh vegetables to pluck as claimed in the website. The natural swimming pool was a disappointment. Although technically the water which is supposed to be cleaned by the weeds may be safe, it looks very dirty with all the leaves & other dirt floating on the surface. Then we found thousands of tiny fish in the pool which nibble away your skin even if you put your feet in the water. It needs a lot of courage to venture into this pool. The main problem was however when we found the rooms to be very uncomfortable because of the hot climate & the fans in the rooms were of no help since the hot air was blown by these fans even in the middle of the night. There are hardly any trees in the property & this resort is surrounded by miles & miles of dry land without much greenery. The claim that the rooms are naturally cooled is not true. They don't even have air coolers in these summer months. We just could not get any sleep in the first night & although we had paid for the second night, we checked out since we were not prepared for any more torture in this hot climate.

It has been a wonderful experience for all our employees to spend the whole day in Our Native Village. The greenery, simplicity and close to earth atmosphere calmed us from our daily work and run around. We had a wonderful time and all our employees were extremely excited and happy. Adding to this was the games that were organised which brought back our memories from our childhood days - during this era of computers and Innovative cities, we have strayed away from physical activities. All the games organised was thoroughly enjoyed by all our employees and the star of all the games was of course our own Khokho . With regard to your staff - they were all very helpful, down to earth and ready to help us with any requirement that we had. Food - Food was really good - all of our employees had one word "Homely food", we don't have to give any more explanation or feedback for food as those two words explains it all. Overall it was a wonderful time that we all had and want to thank you for being such a good host and catering to all our needs at any given point of time.

This place is good for a day or max two. Nothing much to do around this place. Pool needs attention. I mean it needs a real pool :) They have some limited activities to entertain kids. The approach is pretty interesting. you have to go between isolated places and open fields to reach. Strongly recommend reaching the place during the day.

The resort can be located through Google maps. The last mile (inside the farm) that leads to the resort is in a pathetic state. We were provided a room on the first floor of the resort. The room was quiet spacious, though not very well maintained. We requested them to provide the room on ground floor as we noticed the room was getting heated by afternoon, but they denied our request mentioning they too stay in a similar condition. We noticed that they have installed new ACs in the room but they had not kept the remote in the room. We requested for remote but they did not provide. I really did not understand logic of having AC and not using it. The room had became very hot by night. The resort had quite a good number of traditional activities - Pottery making, Bullock cart ride, Spin pot, Catapult, Cycling, Bon-fire,etc. The swimming pond was closed for renovation. The Lunch/Dinner buffet was decent with minimum number of options. There were lot of house flies in restaurant area - could have been maintained better. They do not serve alcoholic drinks inside the resort. Overall the experience could have been better if the rooms were maintained cool and the swimming pool was functional.

We stayed there for ten days for a residential conference. Overall, a great experience. The staff was courteous, efficient and made up for little slips along the way. The place was not prepared for a group of 39 people staying there for 8 to 9 nights but they did their best and we had a very good experience. First the good: 1. Food was great - Chef is from Himachal and he ensured that he gave us food that he liked and food that suited our stomach and palette. since people came from all over for this conference, we had to be careful about food being less spicy, less taxing on our stomach and people not falling sick during the conference. He did not fail us. 2. The ambience: it was lovely as it is surrounded by grassland, totally uncontaminated by modern architecture or ideas of modern living. The place has a great energy surrounded by natural beauty without making you jump in fear of creepy crawlies. 3. The GM of the hotel Neelanjan and his staff ensured that all our needs were met, be medical, be additional space or any other untimely demands that we may have made on them. 4. They also installed many things due to our needs like TV, WiFi, AC, intercom facilities etc for us, which was great. Overall, a lovely and fulfilling experience. Some things that you need to expect and may not always like, though we were ok with them: 1. The living rooms: while the rooms were great, they did not necessarily make living there very comfortable as the beds are on a platform that covers wall to wall, and one had to climb onto the platform to get on the bed. While it would be fun for young agile people for one night or so, for older and people with disability, it would be a fairly difficult task. I experienced it for 9 nights. 2. The lights in the room were sub par and was of course corrected by the authorities after we spoke about it. 3. Overall, the room and the bathroom needed work. 4. If you are the types who likes to enjoy nature from the comfort of an AC room, through the glass window, then this is not the place for you. But if you are the type who would like to experience living in nature in absolute quietude with great service and simple food, then this is the place to go for work, reflection and/or simply have a good time.

This was a terrible experience. Management is not polite. The place is very hard to get to - the approach road is unpaved and very hard to drive on. The place is barren and there is little to do. On one day the whole place was full of around a 100 school children on a trip to the resort - with loudspeakers blaring. My wife and I left the place earlier than planned - and we got no refund.
