It is a good hotel with a big room and good toilet space. The only minus point is there is no restaurant attached to it. Although they arrange the food and other needed items as room service it is not as good as eating from the attached restaurant. The good thing is they have a Hyper market in the ground floor and a fruit shop next to it which provides everything we need. Of course it is away from K R Puram and Majestic and other important places. However Uber and ola cabs are freely available. On the whole we enjoyed our stay.

This was our final hotel after a month of travelling. The hotel is about 1 hour from the airport and 30 mins from the centre of Bengaluru. The rooms were clean and very spacious (the bed was huge). As we were travelling, it was quite handy having the supermarket below the hotel to pick up some snacks and water. My only negative, which is through no fault of the hotel, is that it's difficult to find. There are no major landmarks nearby to help direct any rickshaws or taxis, meaning you have to hope your driver can figure out where you stay.

My family & I stayed this hotel for a night on 25 Aug. 2017 although I reserved for 2 nights. I am not fully satisfied with this hotel. The location is not good, entrance to this hotel is jointly with a Supermarket. The rooms are without any windows or view/sights/ventilation to outside.

So many things come together well for the traveller staying at Shoba Residency. Hennur Main Road is a sort of hub so you are amidst Bangalore's life. They have a hypermart just one floor below a little above road level. Then the location is great for tourists wishing to explore eateries and shopping. The bustling Kammanahalli Main Road and Market is just a short 10 minute walk away perpendicular to the hotel. On the way you will cross The Filter Coffee restaurant (a great South Indian eatery), and a North Indian tandoori eatery too and a Cafe Coffee Day. Kammannahalli Main Road is a great shopping street, home to many big brands and numerous supermarkets. There's also an Adyar Anand Bhavan outlet here. Shoba Residency offers a choice of South Indian and Continental breakfast served in the room. The food is sourced from outside as the hotel rooms are more like office cabins on a single floor. Don't get me wrong though. The rooms are spacious, well lit and have spacious attached bath. The double bed is large and comfortable and the room has both a ceiling fan and aircon, plus a TV. The staff, including the guys at the reception, are friendly and helpful. At its price level Shoba Residency is a great choice, highly recommended.

Great value for money. We stayed 5 nights and then stayed again for 2 nights before flying out of Bangalore. Our room was very clean, with good working A/C. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The wifi was also very fast! Recommend anyone to stay here. Our room was not on facing street so it was very quiet! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They helped us book a taxi to transfer to the airport as well as went above and beyond to help me organise a refund from another hotel I stayed at and printed off some documents I needed for my flight. Only thing I would suggest is improving the range of options available at breakfast. We were happy with the eggs on toast but not too much variety. Otherwise, the breakfast was simple and tasty!
