Avoid this hotel at all cost! I recently stayed at this hotel and had to immediately checkout the next day given the appalling state of the hotel and attitude of the staff. This hotel is at best is a 2 star hotel. I arrived with my family and on arrival I was informed that although I booked a twin room it was unreasonable to assume that two people would be sharing a room together. Despite me telling the receptionist, Padma Lochan Dash, that I have booked for four people he mentioned that he was not appearing on his booking and I had to ring booking.com. There was no appreciation of trying to assist but instead I was a sales person, Sidhu, on the phone. After explaining the situation, Sidhu also refused to help and said she was not willing to pass the phone to a manager to discuss further and hanged up the phone. I was also accused of lying and was required prove my booking I was unable to so as the hotel wifi was not working! The duty manager then attended, Santosh Kumar, who refused to speak to me and told his colleague Padma in Hindi Why are you getting me involved in this, thinking I did not understand the language. Santosh also refused to assist and was very rude. I ended up paying extra as it was late and I needed a place to stay. However the situation transpired from bad to worse. When I was showed to my room, it had toilet marks smeared on the toilet floors, dodgy paint and electric work, black marks on the towels, broken toilet seats, windows and light fittings. (photos attached). I asked to speak to the hotel manager, Dell Stan, who I was informed was on annual leave and not available and no senior member of staff would be able to help me. I was moved to another room which was not much better and also had various stains on the chairs, bedsheets and pillow cases! The room also smelled like something had gone off. I asked to use the scales to way my suitcase and was taken to the basement. Not surprising the scales did work and in the process I was also accidently exposed to the state of the refrigerator. I ended up being sick at the sight! The hotel promised a pool- which was not maintained and more of fake marketing campaign. In the morning the building work started at 7am so there is no chance of a lie-in even if you wanted too! This hotel is a total shambles and certainly not fit for purpose. I would strongly avoid at all cost! If anything, it needs to be investigated!

I will be checking out from this hotel tomorrow morning (07/29), so it is a good time to write a review about this property. First of all good things (pros): Location: It is in the heart of Marathahalli just beside the Marathalli Railway overbridge in front of the Village Mart. It's not very close or very far from the Main Road (Varthur Road). Walkable to places like Yashomati Hospital, Village Mart, Star Bazar, GK Vale Studio, Imperial Restaurant, Village Restaurant, Golkunda Chimney, Sankara Eye Super Speciality Hospital. Parking: Roadside parking available but basement parking is only for staff. Staff: Most of the staffs I interacted with were very nice & helpful. Mr Varun at the front office especially is very kind and helped me with few things like taking printouts for my need. Restaurant staffs are very attentive during breakfast buffet. Restaurant / Breakfast: I have availed only the breakfast buffet in the in-house restaurant "Holy Flames". It has a very nice modern decor. It has South India (Idli / Dosa), North Indian(Batura / Sabzi) & Continental (Cereals / Bread / Grilled Veggies / Boiled Eggs / Freshly made omelettes), Coffee, Tea, Juice breakfast options. The staff is very attentive, also once reminded me by calling my room about the breakfast closure time before 1 hr, so that I will not miss it. Lobby: Lobby is ok, with few sofas, newspaper and a TV. It has elevators (lift). Swimming Pool: It has a clean outdoor swimming pool, though I did not use it as the weather was cold. Now the not so good (cons) things about this hotel, which is a deal breaker and is the most important part of a hotel. Rooms: Rooms are dated and need an upgrade. The rooms are spacious but bed & pillow linens are not clean or seem like very old (has become pale grey in colour). The towels are not white anymore and have stains. Washrooms: Washroom mirrors has lots of stains or watermarks, should be changed. We had a problem with the shower partition glass door not staying closed and hence the water comes to the washroom. Also, the toilet hand faucet handle was broken. They switched us to another room and I checked 2 more rooms, all have similar washroom conditions. Water leaking from toilet WB, the paints from the walls of washrooms are gone. So this a budget hotel with these pros and cons.

Accommodation was good. 1. Breakfast could be better. Add cakes, pastry, salami, chicken, pancakes, better salad and fruits 2. Improve lighting in rooms and bathroom. 3. pasta aglio olio was extremely bad

Thank you so much Treebo team, it was all fine with my stay, I think Treebo is doing good, much much better than OYO, oyo's are failed in commitment regarding service whereas I Treebo stands on their commitment I use to travel regularly and use to stay in budget properties only so that I can easily see the difference between Treebo and OYO Treebo's are much much better in maintaining standard/brand
