My colleague and I decided to book the best available suite in this hotel through Makemytrip.com. While the other listed rooms were for 1500 + tax, and being from the hotel industry we were skeptical of the standard room so we decided to book and pay for a Platinum Suite. We paid Rs 7300 for 1 night expecting that the hotel will atleast match our expectations of a 3 star hotel suite. However nothing was normal. 1. We stopped right outside the hotel gate, my colleague went in asking for a Bell Boy. The bell boy didn't turn up nor did anybody else from the hotel turned up for about 20 minutes. We parked the car on ourselves and had to lift our luggage inside the hotel. 2. Surprisingly nobody in the hotel, starting from the gentleman handling the front desk, nobody wears a uniform. You can't assess who is the hotel staff and who is an outsider. 3. The entry to the gloomy Platinum Suite was from the end of the corridor. The coverups on sofa's are torn and the sofas look so dirty as if they haven't been cleaned ever since they were bought. Glasses on the tables are chipped and may hurt you if you aren't careful. 4. The hotel has no pre check in procedures to check that the room they are going to allot has all amenities in place or not. There is/was no water bottle either outside or inside the mini bar. 5. There were no towels placed in the bathroom and no foot mat. We had to request towels but the foot towel came the following morning. 6. The soap provided is Rs 3 per bar so you can assume the quality parameters this hotel follows. 7. We ordered a few drinks after our arrival. It took them 15 minutes to verify what they could serve us to eat along with the drinks. After 15 minutes of approval and requisition, they took half an hour to finally show up with the biggest surprise. They brought the drinks but no water. The snacks were tandoori but they had just been reheated in the microwave and sent as if we don't know the difference between tandoori item and something that is reheated in a microwave. Saddest of all is that the hotel sent us plastic spoons to consume the snacks. Just the kind of spoons a road side kachori wala gives. And all of it in plastic melamine plates which are cancerous and absolutely unhygienic. The kebabs were uncooked so we decided to just have our dinner and call it a day. The dinner was no different and we really regret making this choice. We manage a multinational travel house and promote hotels day in an out. There are smaller hotels across the world who still believe in service unlike this hotel. The rooms are very old and so is the hotel. You will find better, cheaper hotels elsewhere. I will never show up here and will never recommend this hotel to anyone in his senses. You are not welcome here.

No proper lights. dark area every where. no proper security. bad staff. The staff thinks that the guest who has paid for the room is a chutiya. I don't know what all happens here but i don't want to even dream of this hotel. Its better to fall back in 1980's as you enter this hotel. Mischievous hotel and scary also.

Hello travellers I was in the hotel for 2 days of stay. They gave me room no 401 on 4th floor. Before moving our from the room i checked that the windows were open and which i closed from inside and went outside the hotel. After 3 hours when i came back and i checked the windows were again opened. At late night i found that Rs. 1500/- is missing from one of wallets which i thought that might i have kept it somewhere else in my home. I slept without checking the other luggage. Then when inwoke up in morning. I found that one pwrson is opening my door from outside via using room keys at near by 11 am. He came in and he was shocked and but as he saw me, he went away by asking about room shift request which i said no as i did not make any such request. Further, in evening when my wufe opened other wallet then she found that Rs. 25000/- is again missing. She started crying. Then i remembered the locked window which got opened and the person who came in morning and opened my room from master key from outside though the room was locked from inside as i was inside the room. I intimated the staff about the robbery. Got to know that CCTV cameras are not working of the 4th floor. Their wer many exist point of the 4th floor without any security barrier and noticed that the staff looks being part of robbery as MD Mr. Gupta of hotel diplomate bareilly got to know about the robbery incident that guest have come to know about the robbery and he didnt bother to come and help us. When we went to talk to him then he started misbehaving. Staff 100% a part of robbery. They gave the master key to staff to robb us. The room no 401 was given only to wealthy guest which they feel (as they were suit rooms) that they could have cash with them. All CCTV cameras are turned off or left unworking or told that they are under repair and not working as part of robbery plan. Some guests at hotel got worried and checked out the hotel at that point. Hotel senior staff also pressurised us to not to file any complaints with police and started showing that the hotel owner is a former MP from Bareilly. But i had my sources thru which police registered a FIR. But sad to say that we have such a bad hotel in city of Bareilly UP. I am working to get my money back but wanted to write about this hotel so that other guest be away from any contingencies that happened with me. A lady who sits on G Floor was laughing at all the time Mrs. Saxena. I dont know what she knew and what not. But hotel is mischievous and be away from it. FIR Attached. Please go thru.

I decided to "gift" a Platinum suite experience to my guests at Diplomat Residency (Bareilly) who were enroute Nainital. After making online payment (and securing confirmed reservation) through a prominent Indian travel portal, my guests landed at the Hotel at 11 PM. They were "temporarily" placed in Platinum suite and soon hushed into another (allegedly) same level of room, which my guests categorically disagree with. Later, the hotel staff "confessed" that all Platinum suites were booked (!!!) and that they only had the option of the given room. With no choice on their side, my guests were forced to stay put at a downgraded room! What was more disheartening was the sheer insensitivity of the hotel staff. They offered "free dinner" as if to act as a consolation to compensate for the inconvenience caused. I do not recommend this hotel to travelers using online booking mechanism or advance booking as the staff might throw up surprises at you once you land at the reception!

I regret after checking in It is not worth staying The hotel staff is not trained Bathroom is not clean, big webs, hand shower was not working, low water pressure, no hot water, got it rectified by plumber Room furniture, wardrobe untidy Tv was not working In room service is hopeless, presentation and quality of food was terrible Did not serve as per my order still they charged for it I regret why I booked this property
