Reason For Rating : very good one

What's Good: Ambience
What needs to improve : The staff seemed to be being pushed continuously by the owner who was located in town. Intercom was not working snd mobile calls would go to him and that was a problem.
Reason For Rating : Food needs improvement. The complimentary breakfast is not worth even 25/- And should not find a place in the promotion.

The property, promoted as a resort, is NOT AT ALL A RESORT. It is a guest house with seven rooms and a small lawn. It is run by father and son, who is never seen in the premise and the guests are left at the mercy of the 2-3 employees. There is no reception, no phone to call for room service, and no food is available as per menu card. You will get tea, breakfast, or other meals as per the mood of the employees. If they want to sleep late, there will be no morning tea for you.

On Christmas vacation, visited Murshidabad along with wife & kids to see the historical interests and booked Treehouse of Samriddhi Banquet Garden & Resort of Berhampore for two nights.. We started at 5.50 am from Salt Lake by car & reached the resort by 12.30 pm with hr breakfast break at Krishnagar & 45 minutes break at Bethuadahari Wildlife sanctuary for my son to watch deer.. Work is going on to expand the NH -34 but at a very slow pace. On return we stayed one night at Iskon Mayapur before return to Kolkata. Pros :- Easy access from NH -34 & approach road towards the resort is specious. Ample parking space. Decent place to stay . Owner & staffs are always eager to help Nice lawn & playground for kids Tariff is reasonable Arranged sightseeing through resort car. Driver is very courteous & helpful. One morning , we had fresh date juice from the date tree inside the resort Booking made through mail & online payment. Kids will enjoy to stay in treehouse. Can spend time in evening by sitting in attached balcony of the treehouse. Cons :- Space inside the Treehouse is bit cramped & hardly any place to keep day to day necessities. Perhaps cottages adjacent to lawns are spacious & better option to stay. Space inside toilet of treehouse is also very cramped. Being the resort is just next to railway line , honking of trains spoils the sleep. Kitchen & dining hall are situated in separate building. Foods used to bring from kitchen for serving totally un covered, which is highly un hygienic. No proper reception desk to interact There are lot of scope for improvement to make the resort more attractive, as there is hardly any good accommodation option to stay at Berhampore or Murshidabad .

A private property developed as a small resort away from city noises & pollution, not far from the places of interest. They have six individual rooms with attached bath & private balcony facing a well maintained flower garden & a fountain- to be developed.A tree top cottage is also there.A large hall can be used for conference, marriage & other purposes.A dining hall with a sitting capacity of about 20 people. This place is best suited for family or elder persons who wants to spend some peaceful time in the midst of nature & fresh air.Mr Saptorshi Mukherjee & his father who manage the whole operation are very warm, gentle & they along with their staffs took every care for our comfort. They are also open for our suggestions for improvement of their service. They offer freshly prepared tasty & less spicy foods for lunch & dinner. But you have to order beforehand much ahead of serving. Complementary breakfast has limited options. We were lucky to,get fresh Khejur ras(Date juice) in early morning which is now very rare.We enjoyed our stay every minute.Request to add some varieties in their breakfast menu & put some ashtrays in corners of the garden for smokers.

My husband booked this resort during his stay for two days. But due to disgusting facilities he had to cancel the second day booking and he shifted to hotel fame. He booked a ac deluxe double room. The ac was a window ac without any remote. The attendant told him that he did not require any remote as the ac is adjusted to room temperature. But the ac was actually faulty and didn't work in the night. Food was mediocre with lots of oil in it. There was no intercom in the room and everytime he had to go out to call them. The property was very far from Berhampore court railway station. The photographs of the room are much better. In reality the room was not like that and quite smaller. Service was very poor.

Went there recently with my husband for the Holi Weekend that coincided with my birthday. Stayed for two days, March 12 and 13 and had a great experience. It's located at a very convenient central location just beside the Cossimbazar station. Room rates range between Rs 999 (single bed) to 1500 for double occupancy and 1800 for the Tree House. We opted for a double occupancy room. They offer driver accommodation with breakfast at a very cheap rate of Rs 400 per night only. We felt at home the moment we stepped in. The bathroom and the room was spick and span, the towels were fresh and the bedspreads spotless. The cupboard was spacious and the sofa soft and clean. The room was airy and lit up. Loved the wall to wall glass windows that gave a beautiful view of the garden from the room. The accent lighting in the room was beautiful. We arrived late for lunch yet was served a hearty meal of dal, aloo bhaja, subzi and delicious mutton curry with rice. The elderly couple, who run the resort along with their son were extremely warm, nice and well-behaved. Their endearing smile made us feel at home throughout our stay. From making the effort to serve us our favourite dishes all the time to playing along on my birthday, arranging for a cake, singing a happy Birthday song to making special mutton biryani for me, aunty and uncle were a joy to interact with. They even gifted me a pretty brass memento. The staff is minimal, non-intrusive yet helpful which gave us privacy with convenience. They make the best coffee on earth I say. And we've had the best fried rice and chilly-chicken here in years. Also loved the chicken pakoras they treated us with. We almost forgot we are in a hotel, the amount of attention they paid to our needs it seemed like we were visiting a relative. The gardens in the hotel are a treat to tired eyes... from chinese roses to dahlia and more, it's green all over lined with date and banana trees. We looked forward to the morning and evening walks. A staff in the hotel, who looks after the date trees woke us up early morning to serve garden fresh date juice... the best thing I have had in years. And we also got to play badminton everyday... they have a sprawling badminton court with rackets. Sight-seeing was smooth, too, since aunty and uncle guided us about the must-see spots. We had our car but they also provide their car and driver for sight seeing at a nominal rate. One evening we went to the Bhagirathi river and the next morning we went to see the Hajarduari/Nawab palace, the Imambada, Azimunissa's tomb, Nashipur Rajbari, Kathgolar bagan etc, which were all close by within 10km. We went out around 10am and were back to hotel by 1:30pm after seeing everything. We were supposed to lunch out but we decided to come back to the resort and they prepared a simple lunch within half an hour. We could just go on and on about the wonderful hospitality we received here. The morning we left, the hotel staff gave us a beautiful bouquet of flowers from the garden. We were floored and already looking forward to go back to this place again. This is the place to stay if you are looking for a no-fuss clean and cozy place to spend the weekend see this historic city of Murshidabad.
