  • one should stay with own risk..!

    by Babu M on

The best hotel in Bhagalpur? Probably!! judging by the reviews on TripAdvisor. My experience of this hotel isn't much impressive though, After a long journey, a train delayed by 9 hours, me and my associate arrived at the hotel. We took THE best, suit according to the bell boy, the hotel had to offer. We booked the suite for a few hours, from 10.00 to 17.00. The suite itself was clean and spacious but the bed linen wasn't so clean, but a few stains here and there. The water tap on the basin was broken, and the water flow of the toilet was poor. Besides, there were no toilet papers. This is the very first time I experienced no toilet papers in a hotel. We asked to change the linen and for some extra towels but the answer was a direct NO from the reception. The most annoying and the very worst kind of experience of this hotel was the behaviors of the front desk personnel ms Shreya if that is her real name. I have never experienced such "do not care" and "don't bother" attitude from any person at any hotel what so ever. I asked her to connect me with the Manager named Manohor but he never got in touch. If she is the front face of a hotel of such caliber then I would suggest the future guests stay in this hotel at their own risk. Fortunately, we were busy with the meetings most of the time and didn't stay at the hotel for more than 2 hours. The best of this hotel was though Mr. Arun and his personnel at the restaurant. He was a great help.

  • Worth exploring stay

    by NikhilGS on

A decent stay in the place it is. While it's highly commercial city, but the interiors aren't so great. This hotel is located quiet close the the station as well as bus depot. Service is also decent & so is the staff. Rooms online are costly but you can check with the hotel directly for the bookings & costing. It's worth a stay, since even the market is close by from this place.

  • One night stay with family

    by Writer_Ghosh on

It is a large edifice on a narrow street that is humming with activity at all hours. Walk into the lobby and the attitude of the hotel staff overwhelms you. They are very friendly, polite, eager to help and always ready to go the extra mile to please the guests. The check-in was quick and the room allotted was on the third floor overlooking the street. The car park is in a building behind the hotel which you have to enter through a narrow lane. However, the security staff assured me that the vehicle will be safe and there won't be any problem and is any day a better choice than to leave it parked on the street in front of the hotel. The room service was excellent, with quick delivery and the service person inquired at intervals if we required anything. The housekeeping staff were very efficient too and provided the additional items immediately for the extra person with us. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The only thing that the room needs is a fresh coat of paint for the clothes wardrobe. The window cannot be opened and needs cleaning on the outside which was very sooty with lots of cobwebs. The check-out was equally pleasing and smooth and the staff bade us goodbye and asked us for our feedback. It is a place I definitely recommend.
