What's Good: Very bad service. No room service , very less staff, very bad food . after first day lunch we went to eat laxmi villas hotel next to the bagh. Property is nice but nothing else staff itself is not courteous. Kids also didn't like the food. Very bad experience

What's Good: The Bagh makes FITs feel unwelcome. It's primarily a group booking hotel. There's no room service because 'there's a group'. There's no A La carte service and we had to eat food that was apt for foreigners. We went out for lunch. The pool wasn't clean and one of us got injured since there was somis sharp object in the pool. Overall, not recommended.

A unique experience of a staying in a Bagh a garden with some wonderful Gardners (the staff) who were ever willing to help. The hotel has a lot of farmlands as well as dense foliage and trees on its 40 odd acres. If you are eating here then its good to see some of the grains and vegetables are grown here. Plenty of peacocks and birds its a mini bird sanctuary with water holes and spots where you can shoot (with a camera ) . The staff was polite to take us to the fields and show us the entire property and pull out ripe vegetables for us to taste. We had 2 rooms one was the regular and we got 1 room upgraded by the hotel. The upgraded room was spacious and the bathroom was half the size of the room. As it was winter there was heater available on demand room and inbuilt in the upgraded room. The food was good in both the buffet as well as room service. We preferred room service to keep greed (buffet) away. There isnt any place close by where you can eat so please plan to eat at the hotel. Lastly we had a great interaction with Mr Vishnu who owns the place who was every willing to help and take care of our every wish.

Well maintained 200 year old vintage property with comfortable rooms. The front office manager Mr. Bhupendar Singh was warm and guided us well through the property. He introduced us to the Royal Decendents of late Col. Shaam Singh. Convenient location with respect to the Bird Sanctuary. Tends to get chilly in the winter evenings.

5 stars. Visited the bagh in Jan with family. Excellent hospitality managed by mr Bhupinder at reception and dilbagh Singh at the gulmohar restaurant. They really take care of guests well. Will definately visit again.

My third stop in India. My arrival here is late in the afternoon and perhaps thats why the greeting is a little muted. I am escorted to the room which is a walk away through the gardens. The room is spacious with a queen bed with the usual facilities and a fan heater which I switch on straight away. Unfortunately the room is freezing... I am prepared for the cold mornings and evenings whilst touring but not prepared for the room to be this cold. The restaurant is a walk through the gardens and the staff here are very welcoming and courteous. The food is delicious and there is a good amount of choice. The grounds are amazing with ducks, peahens and peacocks walking around. Unfortunately there is also the noise of maintenance nearby but this does not bother me too much as I was out most of the day at the Keoladeo National Park. However, my two night stay here I found uncomfortable due to the cold room. The heater, which was swapped was no better then the first to warm the room. I did not appreciate the stained plastic cups in the tea making facilities and the hairdryer in the bathroom was burned; I did not check if it worked. As a lone traveller needing to keep in touch with family I was disappointed to find that WiFi was not available in the room and only available in reception.

I visited with my family & friends, believe me we did not realize how time went by, the Bagh has it's own beauty & peace. Staff is very courteous & helpful. They made our stay so comfortable that my daughter refused to checkout. Food is good, it's like home, It's a perfect place to relax and to stay away from the pollution, noise & dust. I would definitely like to visit again & soon. Worth spending at this beautiful property.
