  • Excellent Service But Hot Water is a Neccesity

    by Kamouraskan on

Like many hotels in India, this is a bit of a false oasis amidst the sands of poverty. There were signs that building work was going on sporadically, but the general layout is quite beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious with soft pillows and a massive bed. There was complimentary water, but no tourism pack, simply the restaurant and room service menus. Little things are always appreciarted, especially as at sunset candles were lit on each of the outside tables. However, possibly due to a wedding party coming the next day, we seemed to be almost the only patrons. It was very unnerving to eat entirely alone in the dining room while five staff members watched us, but food was brought instantly. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented. Breakfast was buffet, but with eggs any style including omelettes. We had asked if the hotel was empty at what should in our mind be peak season. We were informed there were 500 guests arriving for a wedding, which explained some of the gorgeous decorations. Gazebos with fresh flowers blankets, hanging drapes and baskets. And guests arriving and arguing in the halls at 5am. Whether because of this or it was a common problem, there was no hot water at all in the morning. The cold tap ran warm after about 10 minutes, the toilet roll was as soft as wrapping paper. However, on the plus side, the service was exceptional. A staff member at all times ready to help or assist, though that may have partially due to being pretty well the only people in the hotel I think the wedding planning was taking up a lot of man hours and we can't blame the early wake up arguments if the guests thought or had the attitude that they were the only ones staying there. Overall, we might have enjoyed our stay if we could have slept through the night and had a warm shower in the morning.

  • Trained staff and Good Location

    by Roopinder on

Hotel is located right on NH-21 road built in colonial style spread in around 3-4 acres with 3-star category. Hotel is well painted in white color which gives a good ambience. Keoladeo National Park and Bharatpur Town is very near and facilities include outdoor pool, a fitness room, tennis courts, Sauna and Ayurvedic massages. Our family enjoyed the food especially Lal Maas which is out of this world and well cooked. Children had a gala time in the pool. All dishes are with typical Rajasthani ethnic flavor. We visited Fatehpur Sikri as it is just 20 mins away. Agra is around 1 hour drive. There is new block at the back side of hotel where rooms are very good, newly built and spacious. This resort is quite popular among foreign tourists and used by travel agents for booking their tours. Popular circuit comes from Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Bharatpur. People come here mostly for Bird Sanctiuary.

  • Good Property

They have an amazing property, quite low rated but good for people travelling to Bharatpur as on main road too and near the Bird park. Even food was good. Though outdoor restaurant can be improved. Its a complete value for money or even more.

  • Nice Stay

    by Astrix_Alert on

Had a nice stay on this in November last week. Everything was good except 2 things. They dint have any cabs at most they can arrange auto on demand. This places is a bit away (1.5 km) from saras circle from where you can get a public transport. for food I had a mixed reaction. Spring roll was quite good but the other snack kabab or something wasnt that good. Room service was prompt and fast even during high rush and late nights. You have nice rooms with almost all facilities that you can think .

  • Could be so much better

    by Aloka G on

The property is very good, but needs upkeep and maintenance. The service also needs to improve. The deluxe room that we were given has a bathtub without the safety rod which is an absolute must. On our 2nd day, the Tv stopped working, and there was no signal the entire night and next day. Also, we ran out of hot water few hours before check out and the housekeeping was clueless. The menu card has ample spelling mistakes, and could improve on food front as well. Very average
