Apart from the above mentioned Bhavnagar attractions, tourists like to visit the Takhteshwar Temple as it offers a magnificent view of the city. They can also explore the Malnath Shiv Temple, Trambak Water Fall and Ganga Deri (famous for its miniature Taj Mahal). Bhavnagar sightseeing is incomplete without exploring the Gaurishankar Lake which is a popular picnic spot. Followers of Mahatma Gandhi can pay a visit to 'Gandhi Smriti' and read a number of books written on his principles at the library built within the premises.
Wildlife lovers can head towards the Velavadar Black Buck National Park, which is one-of-its-kind as no other tropical grassland in India has been recognised as a national park.
