What's Good: Location
What needs to improve : Liked everything
Reason For Rating : Jehan Numa Palace is one of the best boutique properties that I have stayed in India apart form Panjim Inn and House of MG in Ahmedabad. It ranks on par with properties in the world. The location, the hotel itself, the facilities in the hotel, the toiletries in the bathrooms, the maintenance of the hotel, the rooms, staff, their uniforms, behavior, reception check-in, check-out, everything is great. As chec-in is at 12 noon and I was to reach Bhopal at 10.30 in the morning and needed to change into a saree that required ironing I was given a room for wash and change and an ironing board and iron. The rooms and the entire hotel is done up so tastefully that its more like a home than a hotel. Although I did not dine in any of the hotels four restaurants I think the food must be good because tables were full. I would love to stay at Jehan Numa Palace for a few days because this time I was there for only one night and I would recommend the hotel to everybody travelling to Bhopal.

Birthday Stay made Special
by honeyd506 on
We visited Jehan Numa retreat over weekend and its the best property you can go for a getaway. Mr. Mukesh Pandey (asst. manager) made our stay even more special with his extra efforts and best arrangements that he could do to make it worth everything. He not only helped us change the dates but also made sure we enjoy the property and my birthday with only happiness. Its a blessing to have such a humble and polite staff at the property. Thankyou soo much for such a pleasant stay. Also not to forget the food was super delicious and the other staffs was also super polite and humble. The cottages were fabulous , worth every penny spend.

It is a beautiful place to stay. Quiet, serene, large rooms, kama toiletries, amazing staff and just amazing food. I was so impressed and liked the place so much that I extended my stay by a day. Under the mango tree restaurant serves some amazing food. The mix vegetarian kebab platter and the non vegetarian assorted kebab platters are just too good and the kebabs melt in the mouth. So are the Babs. Lived every moment of my stay.
Most amazing experience

During this time of Covid and Amid lockdown.. its just a perfect place for the weekend get away if you're bored from the daily homie things and looking for a day off... Services provided are just extravagant.. We were offered the upgraded perfect pool view room by the generous staff especially by Mr Faiz Hasan.. Amazed by the safety precautions they are maintaining which includes sanitized rooms and sanitization of our luggage... The perfect gesture was they were serving *Kadha*in the welcome drink, keeping in view the scenario of current situation. Breakfast in bed was another amazing thought taken into consideration to maintain social distancing.
Fantastic heritage property

A super, very elegant hotel. You get a taste of a different era whilst staying here. I can still hear the pianist playing in reception in the evening and it's a joy to wander the courtyards and look at the black and white photos of former residents of the palace. My room had been freshly painted so was in excellent condition. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained and the massive balcony had lovely views over the pool (just a shame it was too cold in January to use the unheated pool). Under the Mango Tree is a fantastic restaurant - the tandoori platter is a must try. I also had a very vigorous massage in the spa which ended with time in the steam room. Booking directly with the hotel offered much cheaper prices than everywhere else I could find.
Rooms looking out towards the Pool are sunny and light , rooms at the back are dark .

A lot of the Imperial rooms face the swimming pool and the garden. Ask for one..
