What's Good: Comfortable stay. Shall stay at same hotel in next Bhubaneswar visit.

What's Good: While the Property seems to be nice and well maintained, the rating has been hyped and overestimated. The rooms, except the bed linen seem very ordinary and poorly designed. Bathroom fittings and design is like any other one or two star property only. This property does not deserve more than 2.5 stars and not 4 stars that it claims with commensurate pricing. Only plus with this property is the number of restaurants and dining outlets in and around the hotel.

What's Good: Centrally located, well mannered hotel staff, excellent food with lots of options. The only thing which I think needs improvement is the Travel Desk.

What's Good: Had a very pleasant stay. Food served at their restaurants was really very yummy.

What's Good: The staff is lousy, The front desk is not so friendly, The chef is great and hence the food (We ordered veg only all times) Hotel claims of having a south Indian Restaurant, which is a C class joint on first floor of a nearby building. Brundaban - The mithai shop claimed by hotel as the finest mithai shop of Bhubaneswar - was a cool counter stuffed with three or four varieties of local common sweets. However can not rate Poor. It is average.

We had attended a marriage reception at the hotel. Must say that for a place like Bhubaneshwar this was a very elegant 4 star hotel with good buffet facilities. Also the rooms are quite large and pretty neat. Close to railway station and airport.

The New Marion is located at Jan path and is well connected. It takes only 10 minutes from station to reach here. I reached at 9.00 am in the morning and was given the room key card without any waiting which was nice as the checking time is 12. 00 noon. The response from the reception was formal but warmth and enthusiasm was completely missing. The room was good in size and was equipped with mini bar , tea maker and led tv. The split air-conditioning was provided . I was given a room with twin bed and was I was the only occupant however it was fine with me. The interior of the room looked average and dated. The bed linen was not clean but was changed immediately when informed. The air-conditioning unit was very old and made terrible noise which made it quite difficult to sleep at night. The bathroom was good in size and was neat and clean. The toiletries were of poor quality. The towels were clean and hot water was available. The hair dryer too was there. Instead of fruit basket Cookie jar was provided in the room and the cookies were simply bad . The morning breakfast was average in taste and limited in spread. The staff here was not attentive to guest however if requested for anything they served it immediately. The house keeping staff and the supporting staff was simply superb. They did the service great with very professional approach which was lacking elsewhere. The hotel layout is beautiful with nice garden and hood parking space. There is a beautiful temple just opposite the hotel which can be visited. Also the location of the hotel is very good at the heart of the city. It would have been a great stay if the management would have taken care of small maintenance issues and proper training of the staff. Overall a average staying experience for me.

Small but good business class hotel, good room , good food , faultless service. Very cozy hotel. Mr Tapan Ghosh the General Manager of the hotel is a gem of a person. I recommend this hotel to all my bussiness friends visiting Bhubaneswar.

Despite the fantastic location and size this place is simply terrible, even its predecessor Hotel Prachi (stayed with my parents when i was young) was better. Room stinks, bathroom is dirty and what tops it all is food. Ordered Paratha and dal and the Paratha were not cooked properly. Next night went for a safer bet - Khicdi and even that was pathetic. Some serious pull up is needed and till them i would avoid this place at any cost.
