Food was awesome. Rooms are big with average amenities, but value for money. Enjoyed roof top dinner and bonfire. Owner was very polite and helpful. I give 5 star for the food. Ample parking space available. An Excellent budget hotel.

Exteriors and entrance of the guesthouse are beautifully decorated in Rajasthani style, rooms aren't of the same level but are very cheap and absolutely Ok for the price. The family is very helpful, giving you hospitality and information - the kid is always busy, when I was there he was restoring the guesthouse. Unfortunately wifi isn't so fast and the location is a bit far from the city center; anyway is just 20 minutes on foot from the fort and you can always take a rickshaw while on the road.

We have been travelling for 6 months now, and didn't realise just how much we have been craving being in a homely place. Chandra Niwas Guesthouse was perfect for this. The lovely owners also let us wait around until late in the evening for our train, which was much nicer than waiting at the station! Would highly reccomend.

Excellent price for the room. We've paid 400 for a night and it was without a doubt an excellent deal. When we arrived, the room was full of mosquitoes; we've asked the owner for a spray and she immediately provided one to us. Asides from this, all good, could not ask for more at this price.

Rooms are ok.... Nothing that much special... One can easily get such rooms at a much cheaper rate... Fooding is very very much expensive... Rs.30 for a cup of tea... A small chapati costs 15 rupees... A small bowl of rice costs 70 rupees... Just felt robbed staying here... I wont suggest anybody to visit this guest house...
