The property is under construction, but the service and the behavior of the staff was more than expectation. We reached at 12:30p.m. and they provided one of the best room for us. But as it was just opened newly on 1st October, 2019 the lock was not working properly, but the young and energetic staff of the resort helped us everytime we called them.

Located at a walking distance from the Rasmancha, this govt tourist lodge is well maintained and reasonably priced. The food here is good too. We had lunch at this place with good bengali dishes - posto bora was the best.

Bishnupur is a small town. So, you should not expect very luxurious facilities. But, this Govt property is pretty good. It is built over a centrally located sprawling area. The main entrance is decorated in tune with the terracotta of Bishnupur. The rooms were clean, the bed sheet had spots though. The staff explained that the spots were tea stains and could not be removed by washing. It appeared to be true and we didn't make fuss about it. Bathroom was also clean. The in house restaurant served delicious food. The staffs were very courteous, unlike at many Govt owned properties. Some new hotels are coming up still in my opinion this will continue to attract guests for its own flavour!

Govt. Property, nice location, opposite of Rashmancha. Foods are good, rooms are big. A park for children. Room rates are also very cheap. Online booking facility available. Dining room is very big and they serve lunch and dinner in Dining hall only.
