We highly recommend this hotel to everyone. We went for picnic with friends ,Everything from the room arrangement, views, location and hospitality was superb! Very very delicious food and snacks ,fresh juice, buttermilk and lemonad was availabe all the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Overall an exotic and super awesome experience!

The hotel is around 2.5 hours drive from south Delhi. It is located in the middle of nowhere. There are some activities like pottery, bullock cart ride, tractor ride etc to enjoy. There is not much to do there so it would be good to go there in a big group where families can enjoy within themselves. The hospitality is average. The kitchen staff is good and courteous ( they accommodated our demands) but the front desk manager is quite rude and curt. Rooms need an uplift. The bathroom are not very clean but in usable condition. Overall it was an ok experience.

Can be a great weekend outing away from the toxic air pollution of Delhi. Its a heritage property turned into a hotel by the owners who live adjacent. Decent people as staff and a bit of history is what you get out here. Customised food will be served and they can organise some events/play activities for kids I am told.

For Dushehra extended weekend, we planned a trip around NCR and Mudfort Kuchesar seemed a better option considering the distance from Gurgaon. The route is bad because of road construction work in Pilakhua area. 130 kms were covered in 4 hrs plus. Taking Bulandshahar route is recomended. The property is an old fort converted into a hotel. The rooms are spacious but the amenities are not better than a 2 Star experience. The bathrooms are big but not modern enough. The rooms are scattered across the property and considering the vast property and the construction, it feels haunted to move around at night. The rooms had big healthy Lizards which my daughter was not comfortable at all moving in. The ACs are faulty, leaks water and are noisy like sleeping with a genset on. The staff is helpful and the food is good. Do not plan to go if you are going as a family or couple. We were good as we were 10 families and thus we didnt need anything else other than having fun amongst ourselves. No organised activities from the resort management except one cart ride to the village. The Stay is not comfortable. The rooms are not good. The resort is boring to the core. The tariff charged doesnt justify the amenities provided. There are lots of small camps around NCR which would provide better facilities. Go only if you are a big group. Or go at your own risk.

Pros: - It's a nice property, a refreshing one given its proximity to Delhi as a quick getaway. The accessibility, the quality of roads to reach the fort definitely gives it extra points. - It's a decently cleaned property. - The food served during lunch and dinner was good and loved by my family. Simple but tasty and had that village like (unadulterated) feel to it. - The service was average but smiling. Cons: - Not worth the price paid for stay. - The room decor was barely meeting standards. The drapes were very average, the bed was hard, the electricity charging points were too few and most of them were burnt up. The air conditioning took more than an hour to cool the room.
