What's Good: Worst hotel i ever stayed in my life. This hotel is not even worth one star. Untidy rooms, full of mosquitoes. i had paid almost 5000 rupees and its not even worth a single rupee. completely useless staying at this place. Nobody cares about the issues in the hotel. i will advice better not to stay at this place.

What's Good: We had stayed here for two nights in Feb 2015. Lot of renovation was going on in the floor where we were given the room. Lot of dust n paint smell was there. Then we got a change in the room. The food was ok. I would like to mention one name here Mr Mohan Takur manager in the restaurant who was very helpful. He went out of the way to help us.

What's Good: in one sentence: the hotel was way too costly for its services and overall experience , though "FOOD WAS GOOD :)" In this sequence I had the experiences: 1. hotel's location is its + point, near to rock garden , famous lake 2. from outside it looks nice , BIG 3. thats when you get inside and realize rooms are not well maintained . 4.our's room's AC was down and the rude staff STUCK to their point of repairing the ac that time itself . which is not a nice gesture at all . 5. then in the next room TV was not working , there are no fans , and not well maintained hotel at all . 6. Dinner was compulsorily included in the bill to term it as "complimentary " though we liked the food. 7. All in all hotel doesn't stand to its extraneous price . 8. there are other good hotels which you should look for 9. it had mosquitos too :P , really you pay 7000INR a night to be bitten by mosquitos .

The Hotel is very well maintained, neat clean and nice ambience. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, with LCD TV, mini frig, electric kettle with tea, coffee, green tea pouches and cleaned daily. Most of the rooms have outside view and have free wifi. The restaurant is also very spacious and serves excellent breakfast and dinner buffets with numerous dishes and salads at very reasonable rates (I did not avail lunch buffets), the food is quite delicious and the staff in the restaurant very courteous . It also has a 24 Hour coffee Shop, swimming pool and Gym .

I was there for one night, located in the heart of the city. All major points in Chandigarh are walk or minutes away. Rooms are big & well maintained, with all required amenities. Top floor restro bar view is too good.

Shivalik view is in the prime location,so went there for in cloud 9 as to discuss regarding a venture. It's said treat your guests as good, but a guest gets ignored here as the girl in the front with big eyes was so much busy in her phone. Felt amazed that even after i grabbed my seat, she was still busy for a long time. The food was good, service was a bit late though but Poor greeting of guest.

This Hotel has the same management at Mount View Hotel, but this is clearly where they send their B-team. The Hotel - although spacious - has seen better days and certainly better maintenance. All the fixtures and fittings are just that little bit run down and shabby. There were mosquitoes in the room, and the bathroom- although clean- had a persistent odour which was not pleasant. The food - specially the breakfast buffet- was awful. There were mismatched dishes, odd choices for breakfast - seemed like leftovers from the dinner buffet of the night before. Most dishes were South Indian-idli,vada, sambhar, (and not well cooked), no choice of eggs (except boiled eggs), and nothing else. If oily, spicy food in the morning is not your thing, you're in trouble. And its not only the tired, repetitive menu, the waiters are tired and couldn't be bothered, like the manager and most staff. The number one complaint i have - hotel guests walk around the corridors like its their (very noisy) home. They'll keep you awake past midnight with their loud conversations and screaming kids.Any complaints on that score are ignored. Practically the only thing it has going for it is that it is located within 200 meters of the Sector 17 Market. Pity.......it was a nice hotel once.
