A very comfortable place to stay in. My family and I loved the clean environment and the home atmosphere the place gave us. We had our little home in Chennai and we were extremely comfortable. Kiran Uncle is a wonderful and a patient person who tried his best to uphold all my requests since my father underwent surgery at the Apollo hospital nearby. My family and I will have to go back to Chennai every couple of months or so, and i will definitely check in to Cozy Inn, Chennai. This place, along with its staff and location, is just perfect! Thank you so much!

Summary - If you have an attorney, got for it. If you don't have an attorney - avoid!. Please solve puzzles and brain-games before talking to the owner, you will need them grey cells unless you love "magical" expenses that appear from nowhere. In one simple word - unprofessional! Unprofessional because we were never communicated (in spite of several emails and phone calls) about daily charges and ancillary charges. The amount that was finally communicated to us in person was "magically" changed for magical reasons - the magical reason being "card". Apparently using a plastic card increases the daily room rent by 25% "magically" - this is when you need an attorney because nowhere on the website is that mentioned. In fact, the website clearly states "accept cash and card" - but the tricky part is unless you love cash and carry loads of it and hate electronic transactions and using plastic card, you will love the place. What this roughly translates for people who like doing substantial transactions in cash is - ' you scratch my back and I shall scratch your back' - a win-win for everyone. Apparently, since I am not inclined toward "scratching anyone's back" I had to shell out the magical "card transaction fee". You also want to clearly ask what the room has - of course it is logical to assume a bed and blankets and cupboards - but severely illogical to assume the room would have a chair (or something like a chair) and table (or something like a table). I am pretty sure if I would have brought this up with the super smart owner I would have been told I could use the common dining area - since that table is capable of accommodating six people. But I did not pursue that chair-and-table conversation and suck it up (I was missing my attorney again!). Be sure to ask for sheet changes regularly - depending on the frequency mentioned (make sure your attorney asks this). During our stay, the sheets were not changed as per the frequency. Toiletries need to be asked for - but that is understandable right, because India may to sab chalta hai (everything goes cuz its India) - because the "room service" is apparently missing completely. If you are one of those species who hates seeing their face while brushing teeth then you are in luck - the rest-room does not have mirrors. Showers are a stick no-no (apparently influenced by Baba Ramdev - so you have to make-do with a telephone shower - what fun! Last but not the least, the air-conditioners are awesome - I mean if you love heritage artifacts, you are again in luck! The place boasts of all heritage air-cons which means it will really push you to get up your back and work it for changing settings (if they work!).
