A very bad experience at this hotel . The staff has no cooperation among them . They dont have a room key for any of the rooms . They just use a master key for all and tell us that will give u the key later which never comes . The linen was not changed when we checked in . There were hair on the bed which means it wasnt cleaned after a check out . Total bad experience

We had booked a Classic Room through Cleartrip for a 3-night stay for Christmas from 24 to 27 December with full advance payment made since a month before. Although our Check-in time was noon on that day, when we reached the hotel in the afternoon of 24 December, we were surprised to learn that no room was available and the hotel was overbooked for Christmas. INCREDIBLE !! What an unprofessional management on the part of this hotel !! Other guests who had booked rooms at this hotel were in the same situation as us. We sat in the reception lobby for hours, raising our voices many times before finally getting a room at 8.00 p.m as some guests had just checked out. When we got our room, we noted that the bathroom was not properly cleaned, we got used bedsheets and pillows and the towels were still humid and dirty. When we complained with the Manager, we got clean bedsheets and towels and that after one hour !! The question to be asked here is why the hotel had allocated rooms to other guests fully knowing that we had already booked rooms and paid for it. Such kind of money-making business without caring for its guests is VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !!!

I stayed in Hotel Grand Cascade for a night. The major advantage is its proximity to Central station. It is just a stone's throw away from the Central and Park stations. Grand Cascade is located in a by-lane, reaching which can be irritating. But once you are inside the hotel, the overall ambience makes you forget the frustration. Our room was of okay size, it was neat and clean. I had to get the pillow covers replaced, though. One gets a mini kettle, and a few tea powder bags and a coffee sachet, surprisingly no milk powder. The free breakfast timing are 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. We had our breakfast by 9.15, but every item had become ice cold by that time. The ready tea was ,thankfully, very hot. There is nothing to complain about, except for the tasteless food in the morning. The side to which the windows open has a back wall of the next building which may affect the mobile coverage. In my case, my airtel worked but the mobile internet got affected. Of course, one has free wifi in the room, but strangely you can connect just one device to it. The hotel is worth staying in with family. The surrounding area or narrow lanes & by-lanes may not invoke feeling of safety, but that is not the case Overall, a good place to stay. It offers you every thing which you may expect in the charged tariff.

Conveniently located near chennai central railway station. If you have lite luggage can walk and reach otherwise you can reach by auto in 50 rupees from station. Front office staff is polite and friendly. Checkin and checkout timings are customer friendly. Room is specious with clean but little small washroom. Wifi is ok. Breakfast is just ok. Overall good place to stay and recommend for future trips.

Since i booked through Goibio i guess rooms allotted where less.In goibibo it says 24hrs checking but its 12 to 12 only. I waited in morning for 1.5hrs and since need to leave urgently got a room for fresh up and returned night and again had to weight for 1hr for a room. Had a call goibibo complain and had to speak rudely to get a room.If your in shot of time in arrival, please book directly. I guess room availability during weekends an vacation is stuff and normal days is ok. Food is good. Rooms where clean and staff where very helpful They apologized for making me wait and very humble in the mistake they made.
