This place is extremely simple. The hotel is placed in a good area that is T.Nagar. It is the epicentre or the hub of Chennai. You'll love the hotel and the rooms are good. The bar attached is pretty cool and the wines are cheap. Try a certain times maybe

I do not want to give even rate 1, because there is no option for non-rating or minus ratings. Tripadvisor - pl. arrange your website for such types of examples also. I had book here, only because I had a training in their convention hall. I booked for Rs.1500/- day for A/C room with free breakfast. Bargain hard, you can get it for 1200 or even less, because they have no standard. I request future guest, not to consider the rates or pictures shown for this hotel, shown on any sites. While coming from the airport, the cab driver asked me, why you want to go to that hotel, its closed, I can suggest you even the better options. Upon arriving, the reception was under complete dark. I saw such reception first time in my life. The hotel in under renovation, they have service apartment with very very basic (poor) facilities. Drinking water bottles are kept looking at its condition, no idea since how long they were filled, but guarantee of stomach upset. Families, pl. avoid. They have no intercom, they give mobile nos., they never attend your calls, they are always busy. I had to wait for a soap and blanket for 2 hrs., finally went to the reception and personally brought it, because I need it, they don't. I was the only guest in their whole apartment, and this poor mgmt. was unable to serve even to their single guest. So this is their service. I wanted to extend my stay, but no way. The sales manager RIAZ, is very gentleman, soft spoken, till he gets business. His voice changes immediately after that. I remember what he said "you will keep our hospitality". Now I realize, he was correct "I will always keep remember their hospitality, and never suggest anyone". My humble suggestion to the Dee Cee mgmt. to re-structure their system, staff or to change the business.

We had a very bad experience in this hotel, At first, It's an old place and maintened very badly. The air-conditioner at lobby and corridors didn't work. There were some beds, bedsheets and food plates at side of the corridors and the whole hotel smells bad. The switches and bathroom fittings were all old and broken. The WiFi is very slow. We paid for extra bed while booking on MakeMyTrip itself but they charged us extra Rs.300/- on checkout bill, we had to argue for 30 mins and finally make a call to MakeMyTrip customer service to get this issue sorted out. The hotel is situated at a great place, with good maintenance and staffs this hotel can do great. The management should take immediate action.

Recently we have been to Tirupathi and from there to Chennai. Since, we hadnt done the booking for any Hotel in Chennai, on 17th evening we walked in person and checked in the Hotel Dee Cee Manor as this was a listed hotel in our Travel Portal and is also situated in T Nagar (place where we wanted to stay). As it was listed in our portal and that too as a 3 Star Hotel, we were looking forward to a better experience. We told them that we were 4 adults and two kids and at a negotiated and agreed price of Rs.3,200 including all taxes, they showed us a huge room where they arranged two extra beds for all of us to be put up. I was OK as, my parents, wife and kids were comfortable in one room with all of our luggage. The primary reason why we chose that Hotel was that it was hardly any distance from Sambasivam Street where our relatives reside. We stayed there for 3 nights. Day 1: - There was no Hot water at all. - Utensils and empty plates with left-over food in the lobby attracting cockroaches. - Breakfast was not up to the mark. Improperly cooked and cold stuff wasnt hot at all. We werent expecting a wide spread. No fruits / bread / cereal option. - A/C functioning during the day was intermittent. We requested the team to help us with these few things. Day 2: In spite of several requests / reminders no improvement. Its same as above on all four points. We raised a flag and said we do not intend to stay further if this continues. We were assured once again on improvement. Mr. Riyaz Malick (Sr. Manager Sales & Mktg.) empathized with us and said he will inform the concerned. But, we later realized it was only to pacify us and there was no action taken by any of the team members. Day 3: - Status Quo. We were very disappointed on the way the staff was behaving with us as we raised the concern on these basics. Mr. Riyaz Malick changes his version and says they have done their best and we were making a hue and cry and no other customer has complained! How does that become a bench mark to judge a customer? Q: Our concern / question is very simple: How much time does a 3 star Hotel (this so called 3 star hotel) take to attend to customer concern? A: It is 3 days or more than that as per these guys and still they would continue to be adamant to not improve on anything. To our surprise this hotel happens to be nothing more than a glorified lodging / accommodation provider. The plight of the hotel was in shambles. When we mentioned this to them after the bitter experience of 3 nights they said for the money we paid they can provide only that much!!! When did I not agree to pay more??? Would changing a room on the same floor improve things??? The plight of the whole hotel reception lobby, restaurant, corridors, rooms in 3rd floor are self-explanatory of its pathetic maintenance and services. Now, you may ask us why we continued to stay beyond one night? Because, we paid an amount for 3 nights in advance on the evening we checkedin and we were stuck!!!!! Please remove this hotel from your list of preferred hotels. Down size their stars to One Star as they do not deserve more than that!! Request to pass this mail to our travel partner / accommodation partners (Travel Guru, Make my Trip, etc.) so that they may take appropriate action at their end. We do not want any one to undergo the agony and pain we have suffered in spite of parting with hefty amount.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, mostly official purposes. This hotel is so ridiculous that it switches off Air Conditioner at midnight. You will get to know only when you feel the suffocation. Waking up at midnight and calling the reception for an AC is the last thing you want to do in a hotel.
