What's Good: 1. hotel rooms are in Very poor condition. 2. No numbers provided for house keeping, room service etc. 3. No internet or wifi facility available in the room only we can access in the ground floor reception area. 4. Breakfast I have never ever seen like this only 02 pcs of idli and tea served in the room in account of complementary breakfast. 5. By Spending 3000+ Rs and I have received the very very worst facility it was better if I will take some lodge of Rs 500-1000 near to bus stand or railway station. 6. I have received the feedback of online hotel booking through travel portals from my friends it was always negative but this time I have tried also, you have no option because all full amount already paid in advance

It is in the busy business district of TNagar and mostly used by agents on business. It is located on the main road and offers a clean place for budget travellers Surrounded by several eating joints , super markets and good public transport. I believe it's convenient location is a big plus

Was there for 3 days and I can safely say that, this is what defines a good and honest hotel. Clean, fresh rooms. Towel art on the bed to welcome you, fresh water and newspaper to prepare your arrival, cleanest bathrooms in the entire area's hotels, smiling service. At home away from home, and the front desk, people who would go out of their way to accommodate and guide you to the best possible shops, and even bargain with the rickshaws for you! :) The only disappointment was north indian food of the restaurant. The bengali is great, but the others are a disappointment. But the stay is fabulous.

Kolkata Q is the new Bengali cuisine restaurant of Chennai. This is situated at Ganga International Hotel at the junction of Usman Road and Bazetullah Road in T. Nagar. We got interested by seeing their advertisement in the newspaper. The ambience is decent and cozy. Price is a bit high. But they offer veg and non-veg Bengali thali @ Rs. 250 and 375+tax respectively. (Tax is too high; VAT, ST and SC together about 20% of your bill). Not to be confused with limited thali, rather except the non-veg items and sweets, it is really an unlimited thali. We opted for two veg and one non-veg thali for three of us. Food came in traditional bell metal plates, bouls and glass. Menu of Veg thali includes Radhaballavi (Bengali dal cochouri), Dum Alu, Rice, Shukto (Bitter mixed vegetable), Dal, Begun bhaja (Brinjal fry), Mocha (Plantain flower), Alu Posto, Echor (green jackfruit) dalna, Alu Gobi, Papad, mango Chutney, Chhana Jalebi, sweet curd and Pan. In the non-veg category instead of echor and alu gobi, two fish varieties (bata fry and katla) and chicken kasha were provided. We also took Bhetki Paturi (Rs. 250/- for two pcs., very costly). We liked mocha, echor, jalebi. Shukto and chutney was awesome. Bhetki pature was not up to the mark. It was hard and not so tasty. Sweet curd also was not so good. Waiters were attentive and courteous. Parking is very small in the hotel. So it is better to go early to avoid rush. We reached about at 19:45h without booking. The place was almost empty then. By 20:30, it was full. Finally, taste is not comparable with Bhojohari Manna or 6, ballygunge place of Kolkata, but of course worth visiting for Bengali cuisine in Chennai.
