    The hotel staff, ambience , rooms were excellent . The room was very neatly done and very neat and comfortable.The breakfast and dinner was having good spread. The food very tasty and really enjoyed . Highly recommended for stay

    Hotel infrastructure is very impressive. Staff is highly trained and professional. Check in process is very quick so do the check out. Rooms are very comfortable . Coming to food they have Indian as well as Italian and other cuisine . I tried Indian food, most of the dishes were very good.

  • Great hotel and staff - for the most part

    We spent 3 nights in the Hyatta Regency, Chennai at the end of our 3 week holiday in Southern India. The hotel is surrounded by works for the Chennai metro, so it's a bit of a challenge for taxis to get to the front door - which is a minor inconvenience beyond the hotel's control. The hotel itself is impressive - particularly the foyer which has a floor to roof atrium which room floors overlook. Overall we were happy with our stay - the room was spacious and well appointed, breakfast (included) was a sumptuous banquet and the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The issue for us was the handling of the hiccup we encountered. After a rather full day (day 3 of our stay) exploring Chennai, we returned to our room at around 3:30pm to find it had not been serviced. That wasn't the issue as these things can be overlooked. It was the fact that it took about 1 1/2 hours and several follow-ups with at least 4 front office staff before we were able to get back to our made-up room. On each occasion we were advised that our room was being attended to "as we speak" and "we will let you know when it's ready". Nobody came to tell us anything it was only on the final approach to front office we were advised that it was ready. This was an inconvenience but did not ruin our stay, it's just not the kind of service to which we have become accustomed when staying at Hyatt properties. We did raise our concerns, at the poor customer management once the issue had been reported, when we checked out. We have also reported the hiccup here so management is aware they may need to do a bit of additional training. Nevertheless our stay for the most part was excellent and we would return if in Chennai.

    very nice hotel, great service, a lot of space in the room... only complain: high level of loud music in the lounge woke me up in two days. Food was good with option to those dont like asian and indian food

  • Is there a cancellation policy for Hotels booked on Yatra?

    The cancellation policy for hotel bookings varies according to hotel and room type. For more information, please check the cancellation policy mentioned next to the price for the room type. If you are cancelling after the check-in date, there will be no refund. In all cases, you'll be charged a standard cancellation fee of Rs. 250 per booking over and above the hotel's own cancellation charges.

  • How do I pay for the gala dinner?
