What's Good: The staff especially one Mr Thirunavakkarasu, he was very helpful and supportive on my request of late checkout. His approach is quite polite and respectful which makes us feel nice and special.
What needs to improve : 1. Process of breakfast wherein everday you are expected to fill a form. 2. No proper parking facility esp four wheelers

This is small hotel in a crowed street. Rooms are small but Staff and service is good. There was no kitchen at the hotel at the time of our visit. Food is ordered by the hotel from outside and then they serve it to the guests and food quality is bad.

This place is located very nicely and it stops there. There's nothing good one can write about. The entrance is not accessible. The road infornt is so dirty, added to that, the entrance is completely blocked with 2 wheelers and even the guests have to wade their way in to the hotel. No place to park car though. The lobby stinks, unwelcome. The front desk organization is so shabby and it looks as if you have come to a suspicious joint. The support staff moving around are all very clumsy, unkempt hair, didn't see them in any uniform and makes one to feel insecure. The front desk person Abu Backar , though was very cordial and spoke well and helped finish the formalities. OYO on their part could better send a mail stating the procedure to check in like, at the time of checking in, the OTP would come and also the booking reference to be shown etc., Fortunately the room was just then washed and looked a bit clean. No toiletries at all. My 2 cents - First impression is the best impression. So this place definitely needs 'lots of personal care in uplifting its accessability, cleanliness, lobby, hygenic conditions, training staff to own up the place and make guests comfortable at the first look, upkeep of rooms with clean linen etc.,

I was skeptical to and begin with, on booking rooms in this budget hotel for our family, but since we were attending a function for one day nearby, I thought it made sense to minimize travel in the sweltering summer heat. And then this was fairly close to the beach as well. I booked three rooms in this Oyo hotel and I kept the front desk well informed about my night arrival at 9:30pm, I also called them up to tell them I will be a bit late and reached eventually at 10:45pm. I was assured repeatedly on phone that rooms will be all ready. But when I reached, my experience was all very chaotic. Room keys could not be located by staff - the room door could not be locked from inside as well if the key was not available. I had to remind them for towels and toiletries. One of the rooms did not have a functioning tap in the bathroom, other one had a strong insect repellent smell that gave me headaches. One room had part of the false ceiling damaged. Finally, post midnight I got one room changed because of the smell and the lack of a key ! I would give this hotel just a single star rating, but for the fact that the staff was at least responsive. I had to go down and ask for everything, but they were responsive to my requests. Their efforts deserve the additional star. I sense a total lack of training and very poor investment in maintenance of the property. Last word on Oyo. Except for their name on the toiletries, I don't see any effort by Oyo in auditing the hotels they lend their brand name to and ensuring proper policies and efforts are put in place. I see just mindless expansion and a numbers game to keep the funding going.

03-Aug-2017 I booked this hotel through Treebo's website which showed there was a room available in 03-Aug-2017. But after a long train journey I arrived at the hotel to find out for the past 15 days there has been some plumbing work going on. The security guy couldn't understand why they are still taking bookings. So I called the customer care from the middle of the road, literally. Thank you treebo! The customer care guy doesn't have a clue that work has been going on in this hotel. He tried to book me in another hotel which was far away from my point of interest. So I had to cancel the booking and had to find a room on my own. My previous stay wasn't nice either. The front desk's incompetence made me contact their customer care department to help sort out the mess. So kindly keep away from this hotel or from any treebo hotels for that matter unless you are ready to 1. give up convenience 2. Deal with balant incompetence 3. stand in the middle of the road to sort out things with the customer care department.

Stayed here for a visit to the Consulate. The proximity to the consulate is probably the only thing good about this place. I've stayed at a few other treebo hotels and this was the worst by far. The front desk staff was rude and insisted on us making the payment at check-in. We were tired and really wanted to rest a bit but the check-in process took over half hour to complete. We were also forced to make a choice of what we'd like to have for breakfast the next morning during check-in. The rooms were small and had a stale smell to them and hadn't been aired out in a long time. We had 2 rooms for the 4 of us, but both rooms had the same smell. Even the corridors had smelly carpets. The worst thing - MOSQUITOES!!! rooms had lots of mosquitoes which was really strange for an air conditioned room. The bathrooms had not been maintained well and had stained taps and a very dirty mirror. The towels provided were old, rough and worn-out (one of them actually had holes). They hadn't bothered to change the hand towel which looked used and disgusting. The breakfast was served at the promised time to our rooms. It tasted alright but the coffee served alongside was bad (served in a flask). The cups in the rooms were dirty and unusable. Bread was not toasted and stale. 2 boiled eggs were served (no choice to select fried eggs). For the next morning, we requested 2 portions of south indian breakfast instead of 1, and skipped the bread butter option. However we were still served only 1 portion sans the bread butter jam. Just very disorganized in my opinion. Very disappointed with this hotel. Treebo usually has very nice rooms but this one was just bad.
