A Place to die for. Just a 1 hour drive from Shillong. Its near the Mowkodok valley. It is a timeless British Architecture marvel. Need to experience it. Food is good, specially the Chinese once. The weather and climate itself will make Maggi noodle go wow. Rates are acceptable. Roads are fantastic.

This place is superbly cosy and charming. Wonderful place to stay over between your Shillong to Cherrapunjee drive. The dining area is lively and filled with fascinating home-made creative art pieces that are sure to perk you up.

We were put up in their Luxury Tent at Cafe Cherrapunji for a couple of days on our trip to Meghalaya. At first, I was a bit doubtful about the tent as I am not a seasoned traveller and prefer comfortable stays, but on reaching the place and much to my surprise, the place was comfortable and well equipped The complimentary food available for breakfast was limited but scrumptious. The food available from their menu for the other meals were well prepared and soulful. A big shout-out to Steven, the chef. I would also like to thank Jensen for their wonderful service and for making us feel at home for the entire stay and also for imparting knowledge on their local culture
