What's Good: Location
What needs to improve : Lack of professionalism in Hospitality industry. Just exploting the need of the devotees.
Reason For Rating : The room was supposed to be Deluxe A/C Double room. There was nothing Deluxe about it. It was a plain A/C Room. When we went for Breakfast on 28th morning and returned we were unable to open the room due to some technical problem. It took 75 minutes for them to get it opened,. We planned to leave soon after our breakfast and the delay ruined our plan. The staff was courteous enough but the hotel lacks charm. They survive because of the devotees who throng to Chidambaram. The upkeep needs a lot of improvement esp. about cleanliness.

Reason For Rating : Quality of bed items and floor mat were not in good condition. Bathroom florring is very old type. Lift is very old type and sometimes scary. Room service coffee flask is the worst type. Door and cupboard painting were not done. Tv also clarity is not good . Overall not a good hotel. Only the plus point is room a.c. and the location. It is very near to the temple.

What's Good: Good Locality with safe car parking
What needs to improve : service is not up to the mark
Reason For Rating : t was fine. I stayed there few years ago. I felt very glad at that time. room was spacious, clean. but this time I am not satisfied to that extent. But it is a nice place to stay with family. Its very near to temple. I like to stay again.

What needs to improve : AC was not working properly when I complained they said whole second floor has a entire duct cooling might take time and asked for the fan they provided since we're tired during in the night time I was sleep don't go and ask for a different room, however prior to check out couple of hours they provided an alternative room for our tired thanks for that

What's Good: The staff are very courteous and respectful. The ambience is good.
What needs to improve : The cleanliness of the hotel needs improvement. The restaurant is good but AC is not working to capacity and no fans to cover the entire area in the restaurant. The food is good.

What's Good: The room was not checked before allowing. The geyser not connected. AC made lot of noise. Night lot of disturbances around. Though staff courteous, guests taken for granted. Certainly does not deserve the high tariff charged. Will never stay again.

What's Good: the staff are courteous. But i am disappointed to say that there is not water cooler provided. They could provide dth connection for tv as I hail from Andhra and I could not see tamil chanals.There is no clarity while checking out and chick in timings. One person told 24 hours check our. aftersome time some one tell since is online booking you are not allowed 24 hours check out options BALARAM

Probably the only decen hotel in Chidambaram city and located within 5-min. of walking distance to the main temple in Chidambaram Room is very spacious and bathroom was clean Limited dining option' Limited reception service Staff nice and courteous but not very well trained

Ideal location for temple trip. Hotel is near and clean. AC functions properly. Restaurant could have been better. Complimentary breakfast is at best avoidable. Food pricing is reasonable. Room service is bit slow and could have been better.

The room was reasonably clean. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the sheets and towels. They were pretty grimy. We asked for them to be changed but the new ones were not much better. The absolute worst thing though were the cockroaches coming out of the gaps in the ceiling tiles. Reception and staff were uninterested. Really not to be recommended. Although having looked at a few places in Chidambaram I wonder if there is better?

for the cost per night at this hotel, this hotel is just not clean at all. Also they charge for every additional person, not at all family friendly. A family of four though all can fit in a room, they will change for two additional persons. The front desk and the manager should change their attitude and become more customer friendly.
