By far one of our most relaxed trips, magical combination of a lovely place, warm hospitality and definitely the "mobile detox" as mentioned by one of the other contributors. Initially the kids were scared of the dogs on the property but got friendly and pet them the next day which was huge. Our cottage overlooking a picturesque lake had large windows with a deck, was wonderful to be surrounded by nature at its best. Though the food is largely centered around local cuisine and local produce, the kids were delighted to be treated to pasta and pizza for dinner one day.Great place to unwind and simply chill, much appreciate their efforts in making our stay pleasant and enjoyable.

Have never met a more friendly/helpful staff in India Always smiling and never saying no The location is excellent and the rooms are big They have their own lake where you can go kayaking They have 4 dogs on the property and they are super friendly Airtel/BSNL works sometimes only. No wifi. The luxury villas are the best rooms Will visit again.

Went as a Family ( Group of 10) over a weekend for one night. Had a great time, beautiful quite location. A lot of good reviews have been published here on this property, can vouch for it. Just a couple of observations: 1. Food( buffet style) was just about okayish with limited spread. Was surprised to see items like Bitter Gourd, etc being part of the menu in the veg section. It is suggested that the food preference is specifically intimated to them prior to check in. More variety with more desserts suggested. 2. If you are a couple go for the Paddy Villa which has more privacy and is away from the main block. For families the Luxury villa is the best option.Did not much like the Suites, maybe ideal for elderly people who cannot walk much as these are right in the main dining area.Hence select room carefully. Overall a great place for a peaceful, fun filled weekend, recommended for both couples and families.

I want to to start with thanking the lovely staff, their service was impeccable and the exceptionally hospitable. I totally loved my stay at Flambeback; the property is gorgeous and the rooms are large yet very cozy and comfortable. There are a few things that can be done in and around the property, like; short trek, kayaking and plantation walk. Kayaking was the highlight for me. The food was great too and a big spread for every meal. An absolute 5 star rating. Would certainly like to visit again!

We spent three nights here and were essentially the only guests! It is magnificent. The chalets are quiet and nicely furnished and the staff really lovely. We did the plantation walk with Pradip who is very knowledgeable and also did the hike up Seven Saints Mountain - this is quite challenging at the end and you need to scramble up the rocks. We were glad we'd worn tough walking shoes and actually our walking poles were helpful on some of the walk. Shiva's shrine at the start/finish of the 8 km hike is interesting. Fantastic food - and huge quantities - at every single meal. We were too lazy to use the pool or kayak but had a really relaxing time. There's no internet and our UK mobile didn't work - so you are guaranteed to get away from it all!
