This place acts as a great place for us to unwind after our annual Charmadi treks and rainwalks. We have been doing this for a decade and Honeyvale is always the first and only choice. It represents the beauty of Charmadi the best with brilliant views and rustic feel. The rooms are very comfortable and there is ample space for friends to relax, have a great conversation or have a quiet cup is coffee. The swing is my personal favorite. The food is very local and super tasty. Ravi and team do a great job of making us comfortable and feel pampered. Can't wait to come back next year.

We (a group of friends) end our annual treks in Chikmagalur with a stay in Honeyvale. Courteous staff, terrific service, lovely food and a chilled out ambience makes us want to go back there every year. Great place for a bunch of people to unwind.

We have been trekking in Charmadi every monsoon for over 12 years now and stay at Honeyvale every year. Great place, excellent service overall with quality food. Ravi and team there have great customer service attitude. Owner Sadashiv Rao is gem of a person to interact with.

We visited Honeyvale last weekend with family and friends. Its a very big estate with a palatial bungalow . The rooms are clean and very big. Our kids enjoyed the stay very much. We too had a great time with friends. Mr Ravi was quite helpful and pleasant. Food was very good. I would definitely love to visit Honeyvale again.

We spoke to Mr.Sadashiv Rao who gave us all the details of the homestay and we were very impressed with the website and tripadvisor reviews. We started our journey from bangalore and following the google maps did not help as we went 8 kms away from the homestay and Mr.Sadashiv rao helped us take the right route(the website gives us the right direction just follow the same). We reached the homestay by 5:30-6 o clock and the estate manager Mr.Ravi welcomed us in the beautiful home. We fell in love with it. He had arranged for coffee and quick snack. They had prepared lip smacking dinner. He even asked our choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next day, every meal was deliciously cooked and we were particular about having food without garlic and our request was fulfilled, and suggested places for sightseeing. Rooms were clean and tidy. The entire house is furnished adequately and we can admire each and every piece of art hung on the walls of the home. It is spacious and it can accommodate more than 20 members and the best place to stay if we're travelling with big family. We cherished every minute of our stay and we hope to visit them again. Few Suggestions- The approach to the homestay has mud roads and in one of the places while going to the homestay we all had to get down and clear the stones and level the mud to make sure our car passes through minimum damage. Few board games and outdoor game equipment would be helpful to pass time in the homestay. A tour in the coffee plantation explaining flora and coffee varieties and methods of roasting will be interesting to know. Our special thanks to Mr.Sadashiv Rao,Mr.Ravi and Mr.Teja who made our trip a memorable one.
