Visited java rain with wife and 2 kids, had an excellent stay and enjoyed all the amenities, all the staff are very good ,humble, polite and attentive to the guests starting from the reception team , house keeping team ,maintenance team and restaurant team . congrats to all. Enjoyed the calm and serene location all around the property , indoor and outdoor play area are very neat and clean , Games for all ages , Food is excellent , Thanks to the restaurant team for making dishes upon personal request, Just loved that desert tart. Fika Jacuzzi villa 302 was very good , except for the Jacuzzi which had electrical short circuit and maintenance issues, but was attended immediately and rectified. In the reviews guests who have visited the same villa no 302 during august / September 2020 have complained about the issues with Jacuzzi. i had just checked the review of others regarding this issue , else would have opted for other villa. Please attend to this issue seriously , since the complaint of guest in Sep 2020 month and my visit in Nov2020, the Jacuzzi is not repaired properly for the past 2 months .Management Pls Take this seriously and change the pump and switch as early as possible as it had Electrical short circuit and earthing issues !!!!! While check out i had forgotten and left my jacket and the kids jacket in the front office lobby , called up the reception and informed them to courier , which was couriered and i received it ..Thank you so much . Will visit again .

We stayed at Java Rain Resort from 12th Nov to 15th Nov. I could have stayed here for a whole week without getting bored. Just being in the midst of all the greenery that the property is surrounded by was heaven. Our first vacay after Corona and I was happy right at the start to see how the bags were disinfected as soon as we were at the reception. Makes you realize that they believe in taking safety seriously during these covid times. We stayed at the Fika room and loved how spacious it was and the open air jacuzzi is Gold. The food at the restaurant was delicious. compliments to the chef and the menu had a big variety. Special mention of Santhu at the restaurant. Always had smiling eyes and so energetic. Thanks to the housekeeping staff Prathima/Prathiba (not sure of her name), Chaithra and Suma for keeping our Jacuzzi clean and doing those wonderful decorations on the bed for Diwali. Rachan and Mithun at the front desk was helpful and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again, at the same time also believe there are some areas for improvement : 1. The Jacuzzi in our Fika room had a problem with the touch sensitive panel. It would malfunction a few times. That needs to be checked.2. While the facilities like badminton, basketball, swings and slides were wonderful, the cycles were disappointing. They were old and not well maintained at all. So we couldn't use it and this was something we were really looking forward to doing at this beautiful property. Maybe someone needs to do a quality check every time it is returned by a customer and a fine can be levied incase of damage.3. Throughout the property while almost all staff were wearing masks, there were 2 staff in the restaurant who would wear their mask improperly everyday. One of them always wore it with his nose out all the time and the other staff always wore it with the mask pulled below the chin (which was pointless). Would be wonderful for the manager to check on that, specially during covid times when there are some families who are particular about it. Courtesy of the Java Rain staff did not end with our stay, I had forgotten my headphones at the hotel and on reaching Blore, called the hotel. Supreet made sure he couriered it back in a day. Highly recommend this wonderful resort.
An excellent stay

We visited Java Rain in the month of November, and were really impressed by the service offered. From the check-in to the meals, everything was seamless and on time. We asked them to set up a candle light dinner as it was our wedding anniversary, and they not only sumptuously decorated a private gazebo for us, but also decorated our room. Highly recommended.

I'm writing this review as a traveler from Bangalore* Drive: The drive from Bangalore is very straightforward and easy you just have to stick to the route given on Google maps and you will reach anywhere between 5-7 hours. Welcome: The staff was very polite and welcoming, there was no welcome drink served because we traveled during the Diwali vacations in 2020 and for safety reasons which are totally understandable. Stay: We had two rooms at the resort that shared a common living room that has a dining table, a couch, and a common balcony with a coffee table. Apart from that, each room had huge bathrooms and king size beds. The rooms have Wi-Fi, a television, a Mini Bar to put the drinks of your choice and an air conditioner. Bathrooms: The bathrooms were huge in both the rooms (as big as the bedroom) but it definitely needed some up keeping. In one of the rooms even after turning on the geyser for a long time there was no hot water and in the other room there was hot water but it took me about 15-20mins to adjust how hot the water coming out of the shower was. Both rooms came with a bathtub with a Jacuzzi inbuilt which is great for relaxing. Bathrooms are kept clean and well maintained for the most part and have modern designs. Entertainment: There is a good amount of things you can do at the resort, there is a picnic bench to eat your afternoon lunch with your family, a small park, an activity room where you can play table tennis, carrom, big chess, and a small play area for kids at the same room. The resort also takes part in events based on the festivals happening. There is a TV in the bedroom. Since we had two rooms we had two televisions, in one of our rooms, the television didn't show any channels because of some issue in the other room it worked absolutely fine. Each room also comes with free Wi-Fi that is pretty fast and you can watch movies and YouTube videos on your phone/laptop with no issues at 1080p easily. Food: Since we were traveling during 2020, there was no buffet but, there was a menu with all the dishes available at that time of the day and we could have unlimited servings of whatever was available on the menu. Food was brought to the table by the waiters at the restaurant. Food was good and there was a good choice of Veg, Non - Veg and a good variety of desserts as well. Enjoyed the food that was served there :) We also have a choice of picking between bottled water (Kinley) or unpackaged water. Hospitality: The resort staff was very friendly and welcoming and they were always on time whenever we requested room service or had an issue that we needed help with. They conduct events at the clubhouse/activity room in the evenings. The hotel staff was nice :) Parking: You can either park at the resort parking lot or drive your car and park it outside your room(based on what room you have). Overall: A nice place to stay with the stunning mountainous landscape, fresh air, away from the city, calm and relaxing place to stay. You can take a lot of beautiful pictures here. 20 minutes from the resort you can go to Mullayanagiri Peak which is the highest peak in Karnataka! *Keep in mind this review is based upon my stay at the time during Diwali 2020(November). Price: 3/5 Rooms: 3.5/5 Food: 4/5 Hospitality: 4/5 Cleanliness: 3.5/5 Overall: 3.5/5
