    This is one of the worst property we have every stayed in our life , Rooms are very old, dusty, without any maintenance. Shabby looking front desk , Without any professional skills. We had to repeatedly come down to reception as the phones are not working , DTH not working etc, Buffet breakfast was another worst experience cold food left open with housefly. Food served was bought from outside local shop. All the amminites are either broken or half working, Bering a peek holiday session and x-mas new year festival time we dint find any decorations done .

    The hotel is really old and I got deceived by seeing the photos. Absolutely pathetic experience when I went out with my family and stayed for three nights. For the tariff that I paid I could have got a 4 star hotel easily but ended up in this lousy place. The hotel management doesnt seem to be interested in running this business and seems they arde just doing it for the sake of doing something. Really old infrastructure , understaffed , unclean linen and sofas. The room doesnt have a jug to keep water and hotel staff say that is the way it is . No coffee kettle either . For all the three days we stayed they served the same breakfast which was idli,vada,upma and bread ,corn flakes . We had to wait till 8.30 for breakfast to be ready and the dining hall was dirty with old cloth on the tables and wait for plates . They didnt even serve water at the tables but kept a dispenser with paper cups. All in all a terrible experience and would suggest everyone to never go to this hotel

    I stayed here for a couple of nights during the recent Chikmagalur APRC Rally and was pleasantly surprised by this place and what it offered. Accessibility is superb because it is right on the main road from Chikmagalur. There is adequate parking space for multiple cars and bikes. The rooms were adequately equipped with the essentials and the Non-AC room I had was quite clean and not lacking in anything. The washroom could have been a bit cleaner but I will let it pass. Hot water is not available through the day. I believe it is only in the morning hours. Food was delicious, value for money and whatever we ordered was served to us without any fuss or delay. Taste was superb with whatever we had, cleanliness was nice too. Since we were a group of men occupying 6 rooms over 2 nights and 4-5 meals at the restaurant, we ended up trying almost every item on the menu. Breakfast is complimentary and is served in the ground floor restaurant. Buffet spread has a few south Indian items like idli vada and corn flakes, eggs, toast and butter/jam are always there. Nothing extraordinary but nothing to complain about either. All in all, an ageing property which still manages to serve its purpose well at a very reasonable tariff. Some minor issues and an understaffed hotel by the looks of it, but nothing glaring. If looking for a no-nonsense hotel near the town, this is a nice option. Dont go with too many expectations of a perfect experience, and you will be happy :)

    Poor service, Poor restaurant Wifi is mentioned but not available in Room, only in the lobby. Hot water not available in the room after 8:30 pm or before 6:30 am. In room TV has Tata Sky without balance, upon asking was recharged with some basic channels without Music, Movies.

    This hotel is way past it's glorious days. Good thing is car parking is available. Reached late afternoon and front desk issued most pathetically maintained room (no 107) which seems to be reserved for MakeMyTrip guests. After raising the concerns with MMT, they shifted us to another room (no 111) which was slightly better. No drinking water provided, CRT TV which is recharged incase guests ask for but without news, movie channels etc. Restaurant is understaffed (2 cooks, one waiter and one bar boy) and 80 percent items in menu card is unavailable and quality is pedestrian. Breakfast is avg. Not recommended
