What's Good: View
What needs to improve : Distance from everything else
Reason For Rating : Should have had more variety in food.

Sheltered away from the manic bustle of city life, Trivik Hotels & Resort is situated amidst the spectacular Mullayanagiri Hills with breathtaking views of the valley. We stayed there for 2 nights & for me the highlights of the resort was: The infinity pool with a stunning view. Embarking on a jeep ride to the picturesque mountaintop (organized free of charge by the resort). Talking a walk down the cliff to the Coffee Shop within the resort premises & sipping on freshly brewed filter coffee while you put your legs up on the railing, starring at the endless range of mountains. The excellent hospitality & courtesies extended by the staff & service delivered with a smile each time! We started from Bangalore & the journey was approximately 5 hours with a couple of pit stops in the middle. The road is excellent & you can cruise down right up to Chikmagalur at good speeds. The resort is about 12Kms further uphill from Chikmagalur. While the road becomes narrow it is very picturesque & would take you about 30-40mins. We were greeted by General Manager himself on arrival & the check-in was swift & easy. The room was very spacious with a living room, a spacious bedroom, a fairly large balcony, a dressing area & a nice bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub. The reception on the mobile is poor in the area & Wi Fi in the room wasnt effective. But, who cares! In fact its perfect to enjoy the luxury offered by the resort & the blissful mountain views. The lobby & the restaurant had very good Wi Fi & was sufficient to reply to that urgent mail & for the missus to check-in on social media! My 7 year old had plenty of things to keep him occupied a kids play area, badminton, a low-rise pool table & some board games. They also had a magic show on one of the evenings & tombola enough to keep the little ones occupied! In all, a short but a perfect weekend. The drive isnt hectic. The weather was pleasant. The food & hospitality was great. What more can you ask from a vacation?!

Aaah! What shall I say! From the location ( perched atop the highest peak in Karnataka), to the architecture and layout ( remind one of international properties, nothing sticks out, nothing tacky, everything blends in to the scene and gives you a soothing appeal), from the superb rooms ( perhaps the biggest bathrooms I ever used, super spacious rooms with all amenities thought about) to excellent service ( service is non intrusive and yet very personal), everything about Trivik is WOW. Two, three days spent here is the definite remedy for the hustle of the city! Come down in hoards!

We had a wonderful experience in Trivik. Service was excellent. The hotel manager and Mr. Beliappa took very good care of us. The rooms and facilities are top class. The food is great, loved the millet balls and appams. The view from the room is spectacular. Highly recommend this property if you want to be close to nature and experience hospitality at its best. The rooms and bathroom is one of the most spacious and luxurious that Ive ever seen in any property. The overall experience was fantastic. We are definitely coming back soon!

It is such an excellent place to be... you can find the beauty of nature at multiple places but if you get beautifully maintained stay as well, thats amazing. Though its a huge area of resort, but you can find them super clean and maintained. The rooms, environment and staffs are class apart. Best suited for all families, friends and business...
