We stayed here for a night. The rooms were very comfortable and well kept. We felt that this hotel was great for the budget. The staff was very friendly and attended to our requirements without delay. The rooftop restaurant does give a good view of the hill, but do note that the fort is huge, so do not expect out of the world scenery. Only thing to note is that being close to the railway line means sounds of trains passing by through the day and night.

Chittorgarh Fort is the size of 8 x 2 km on the hill. The hotel gives you the view of the hill, not of the fort I would say. If you can enjoy the view of the hill, this hotel is OK. Otherwise, I don't think there is any specific reason to stay here. Some distance from the station and other city features. The restaurant has limited kinds of dishes. The room facilities are less than average. BTW, I took a fort view room, and I regret that. The room is noisy as facing the main street that has lots of cars and trains. If you would see the view of fort/hill, you can come to the roof top restaurant at anytime.

we went on the way to chittorgarh and booked the hotel online. the photos put by the hotel online are literally edited and not actual. the hotel didnt have its own parking . parking was at the shopping complex on the road. the rooms are dark with stinking matress and blankets. the taps of the bathrooms continously leak making noise all the night. hotel is situated on road in a residential area due to which there is continous noise of vehicles and train passing by whole the night. also the hotel boasts of having roof top restaurant with buffet breakfast. but please it the worst part. they have kept some table and chairs on the roof of the complex which is very dirty. the breakfast also stinked of some expired cooking oil used to make it which we immediately told the owner and he had to give some of our money back due to poor services. not at all worth stay if going with family. solo traveller can opt for it due to its low cost.

I stayed in this 2.5 star hotel from Feb 17th for two nights. There is no reception on the ground floor, you have to take a lift or stairs up. My room was extremely spacious and a perfectly comfortable place to relax after a long day in the sun visiting the sights. Excellent shower and loads of hot water. The rooftop restaurant was a missed opportunity. It offered a very distant view of the fort (15km by rickshaw) but was empty of customers - perhaps unsurprisingly as it didn't look like a restaurant. There was an inside part and the food I had was tasty but basic. I was feeling a bit sick after my day at the fort (too much sun I think) and it took a long time for me to be served a drink. I had to ask three times. But overall the staff were very friendly and helpful and they happily let me use the computer behind reception to access the internet free of charge - always a good sign of customer service. A word of warning - this hotel is close to the train track, which is very convenient if you are arriving or departing by train, but I'd recommend taking some ear-plugs as Indian trains drivers love to blast their horn whenever they arrive at a new station, no matter what time of night it is.
