The accommodations are permanent tents, which are very well done considering they are tents. They are airconditioned. The bathrooms are very nice considering they are tents. Honestly, these tents were better than some of the hotels we stayed at. Well, the show stopper is the lake with its lotus leaves and flowers and cultivated water chestnuts. The bird life is awesome and the sunrise is not to be missed if you love beauty and wildlife. The service was good, the food was good and the location, while way off the beaten path, was outstanding. This place is just lovely for a few days of rest and relaxation and communing with nature. Recommended.

We got relegated to the tents set back from the lake, right behind the lakefront tents. So had no view of anything, apart from the back of the nicer tents. No chairs or table outside the tents, until we asked for some. Even know the lake front tents are all kitted out. There was no mosquito netting either. The bathroom, especially the toilet was filthy. They cant even be bothered to give a basic level of cleanliness. The shower and bathroom was held together by tape. The tent had holes, so a potential mosquito issue. The Generator behind the tents, making noise the whole time. Clearly the palce was over booked and the the tents that are setback, are not the usual ones they put guests into. However, this is where we got put. The common area seats (wicker ones), had bird crap all over them, due to being under a high tree. There is no other choice for food around the camp and they gouge you 500 inr for a basic buffet for lunch and the same for dinner. No real welcome of any sort. No wif or 4g at all, or any form of entertainment. It's a pretty shocking place. Nothing to offer at the place and the lake actually got some water.

Pangarh is very tastefully developed. Its an apt place to stay for the ones who want to experience jungle life. Its set on Pangarh lake and is idyllic place. We were 11 of us in a group on full moon night and the galaxy of stars showering light on us. The food arranged was local delicacies and the taste was very good. We had a memorable time here. Shall surely visit again.

The property is developed with a great taste, passion and nurtured with love which reflects when we visited the place. A small sitting area under the bayan tree overlooking the lake and no cellphone network makes it a great place for one to escape from the rigmarole of the daily life one lives in. During our visit, HisHigness and the Prince of Bijaipur were personally present at the property and did join us for the lunch followed by the boat ride which clearly showed their personal involvement in making a guest happy and truly special. It was interesting to know who His Highness knew a majority of the birds we spotted while in the boat ride. I highly recommend this place for someone who would want to enjoy the true beauty the place has to offer with simplicity and great food. I sure am visiting this place for a better experience the next time.

This is such an Amazing place. We travelled quite a distancing open Jeeps, from the train station. It was very scenic, passing through many Villages. The Pangarh Retreat is set on the edge of a large Lake. A Beautiful setting. The accommodation is in large tents (Glamping) the tent is decorated wonderfully, and the bed is very comfortable. Each tent has its own large bathroom. The is a seperate dinning Hall. The food is all cooked fresh and most Delicious, so many beautiful flavours.
