Very close to the sea and Chinese fishing nets. We had a large comfortable air-conditioned room, always very cool. The people were very nice here. We were greeted with refreshing tender coconuts, and the staff were helpful - when I asked for camomile tea one evening and they didn't have any, one of the waiters went out in a rainstorm to their cafe nearby to get some. Food was good, and cold beers very welcome. There is a shady garden and a pool.

Love to watch the traditional dutch architectures of Fort Kochi by staying in one of the oldest... no, the oldest hotel of Kerala? The mere feeling of staying in the oldest commercial hotel of Kerala itself is thrilling. Just at the famous Vasco da Gama square at Fort Kochi, the hotel is close to the Chinese fishing nets and all the famous yet ancient churches of Kerala. The hospitality is exceptional and the hotel is a real heritage experience. I loved the garden and the pool... also the suite rooms were real vintage beauties. I did a video about this property on my Food N Travel channel.

I stayed at Old Harbour Hotel in May 2018. I arranged an airport pickup which was waiting for me a d then I received a very nice welcome and a coconut drink. My room was enormous and faced both the garden and pool area and a laneway. It was beautiful. Very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, included in the room rate, was delicious. I chose the South Indian breakfasts both days Rahim the cook gave me a tour of the kitchen. Dinner was delicious. I choose the eggplant curry. It was great. The location is excellent.. all the attractions at Fort Cochin are within walkable distance. However there are a plague of annoying and persistant tuktuk drivers following one's every move. This really detracted from my experience of the area. The hotel offers massages. I had a massage with Gigi... who was professional and gave an excellent massage. During my massage a rainstorm started and there was a staff member waiting for me with an umbrella. Nice touch which was much appreciated. The drawbacks.. annoying wifi service. I was kindly provided with a dongle but the connection was patchy at best. This hotel is expensive. I would come here again though. The atmosphere, the staff and the food are really good. Recommended

Old harbour is more than a safe, quiet, and relaxing harbour. It oozed abundant charm, and heritage. The garden rooms allow one to walk out to the garden and are large and well furnished with antique or antique style furniture. These are not your standard 'hotel' rooms, they are more like comfortable welcoming apartments!! The staff take care of your every need. Vinitha, our hostess and manager for two days, was particularly helpful and made us feel at 'home'. The fabulous breakfast was made to order by a brilliant chef with organic produce from their own source. My teenage kids enjoyed the ambience as much as us and particularly enjoyed the pool. Don't forget to take your camera, professional wedding photographers frequent the outside daily!! You will have the luxury of saving your own memories inside and outside.

A wonderful start to our holiday in Kerala. A beautiful old heritage hotel in Fort Kochi near to the Chinese Fishing boats. Very friendly welcome, a beautiful room overlooking the lovely gardens and a pool to relax in after an overnight flight. Delicious food both in the evening and at breakfast the following day. If youre looking for minibars and TV screens go elsewhere but if you want character and charm this place is for you.
