Beautiful Sithara homestay will always be in my heart forever . Such an amazing experience enjoying the homely atmosphere and amazing mouth watering indian food cooked by the mother of the family . Very peaceful and located very close to all the major landmarks . The beack is only 2-3 minute walkable distance from the homestay . If you plant to enjoy amazing architecture , Art and food . fort cochin is the place for you . It is only 3 hours to the tallest peaks . Must stay at Sithara homestay if any one who is reading this plans to visit Kerala , India . Regards Rachelle .

We stayed three nights in this lovely homestay at the beginning of a three week trip to India. We booked directly with Harry via his website and nothing was been too much trouble. Our ensuite room with A/C was very comfortable and the homestay is conveniently located for all the places you would want to visit. Harrys lovely wife, Mary, cooked us two evening meals which were delicious, as was breakfast. We would highly recommend Sithara Homestay.

We had a very nice stay with Harry and Mercy, they are both very friendly and cannot do enough to help. This was my second stay and the hospitality is first class. Sithara is in a really good location in Kochi and it is easy to walk into the centre for shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed coffees and cakes in a nearby hotel cafe called No.18. It was also amazing to walk past the Chinese fishing nets at sunset and to see the locals auctioning their catches of the day. Harry arranged for us to go to a local Katakali show which is in a very nice theatre tucked away down a rabbit warren! We had been told that Marys kitchen was a good place to eat and it certainly seemed popular. Not easy to find as it was a roof top restaurant and although it was nice (and cheap) it was not anything particularly special. The meals that Mercy prepared for us were delicious and we would therefore recommend eating in the home stay! Sithara is very much a home from home. Ken and Jane

This is a great little Homestay, wonderfully situated, the owner is very caring of his customers. The breakfast was really nice as well. We loved it and if we ever go back to Kochi, well definitely return to Sithara Homestay.
