I only stayed one night as I was going to the airport the next day. This was a fantastic place to stay and the breakfast was amazing. I will definitely stay there when I am back in Cochin but this time for a few more days. Stephen Kearney
A nice stay

After booking I was instantly emailed by Mr. Patrick welcoming me and about airport transfer (1500 INR). At arrival I was welcomed by Mr. and served a late breakfast, since I arrived around noon. The room was simple but I don't need any more than a clean room, a bed, wc/shower and an AC and this was just everything I ask for. The location is fairly close to the beach (swimming is prohibited due to currents) and lots of good restaurants within a ten minute walk or so. The breakfast is eaten with other guests and you won't leave hungry I promise you. Fruit, eggs, omelets, dosa, curry, French toast, juice and more. My room was very close to the main door and it was noisy sometimes, but I slept like a baby in that bed anyway. Mr. Patrick arranged a tuktuk-guide for me, which I should have skipped since it was a tourist trap, but some places were pretty interesting. Skip this part if you don't like sellers. I do recommend this place and would go there again.
Ideal Homestay for visiting Fort Cochin

A warm welcome from Patrick and his wife, and made us tea on arrival. The room facilities included tea and coffee making as well as a fridge which was very useful. The room was very clean and comfortable and there was a very comfortable area just outside the room, surrounded by plants, for sitting and reading or just relaxing. There was also a roof garden with numerous potted plants of many varieties. Patrick organised taxis and Tuk Tuks as we needed them. Breakfast was very good and very substantial. We could walk to many of the interesting sights of Kochi such as the Chinese Fishing Nets. For evening meals we walked to Marys Kitchen which was perfect for us and inexpensive. Patrick also arranged for us to visit the traditional Kathakali show which was fascinating.
Very pleasant homestay with a very helpful owner

Patrick the owner went out of his way to help arrange things for us, such as a car and driver. Many thanks Patrick, without your perseverance we could have been quite stuck..... He also gave good advice on local things to see and arranged tickets for a local tradition show. Breakfast was a good spread of local dishes along with omelette and fried eggs. Very filling for the day ahead. The bed was comfortable. The homestay is very convenient to visit all the sights and sea area, whilst being in a quiet side street. We walked everywhere quite easily. (There are many places to eat nearby and Solo, (recommended by Patrick), just around the corner is not to be missed, it was so good we ate there two nights, excellent). Mary was also very friendly and seemed to really enjoy preparing breakfast for everyone. Breakfast is communal are the one dining table which was lovely to chat with fellow travellers. One other point to mention is that we arrived on a very early flight and Patrick had the room which had just been vacated cleaned and turned around very promptly. Room and furniture were tired with an old fridge and tv etc although everything worked. Balcony very narrow and not pleasant to sit out on. In summary, a pleasant homestay with Patrick the host, going the extra mile to advise and help as much as possible.

Heavenly homestay in Fort Kochi is a nice place to stay if one is looking for a stay in Fort Kochi. The beach is approximately 1 km from the property and all the attractions in Fort Kochi are nearby. Patrick and Mary are extremely good hosts. We had a early morning flight and they had ensured we reach the airport on time.Even Mary was present early in the morning to see us off. The rooms are clean with Wi-Fi available and all necessary amenities available to make the stay comfortable.
