The people running the homestay are very helpful and really try their best to make your holiday nice in every way. The view from the balcony to the sea is awesome and sometimes you can evn see dolphins. The rooms are also beautiful, big and clean with van. In about 45 minutes you can walk to Cherai beach, also there is a bus-stop in front of the house. The prices are also very reasonable. So this is a good adress to go to.

It was the best homestay we foud during our trip in India. The room was clean and comfortable. The homestay is in a perfect place, so you can watch dolphins while taking breakfast in the balcony, and the only thing you can hear at night is the sea. The owner is polite and friendly, he helped us with all the information we needed about our stay in Cherai and trip in Kerala. It was difficult to leave, couse we definitely found our little paradise there :)

I didn't really want to write this review, however shibu, the owner, made me promise! I didn't want to tell everyone about our little paradise as it may not be paradise anymore if I do! This place was beautiful, about 2/3 kms from Cheria beach, (on the beach, just down the road) it is an oasis of tranqulity. I kid you not. The rooms are large and clean and the ower will help you out with anything you need, however he does not get in your face and does not try to sell you tours etc. The use of a basic kitchen with fridge is a serious bonus if you enjoy a cold beer which is not over-priced. Each morning the only person we shared the beach with was a local fisherman. Blissful time ;0)

We arrived in the paradise Vypeen, near Cochin in Kerala and stayed at VERERANS HOME-STAY. The room was large, airy and very comfortable. It also had a big balcony with a breath taking view of the palm trees and the sea view. The service was excellent, the owner and staffs went extra mile to help us.
