I was looking for a hotel near the station. Did not want hotels in the street opp. the station. i saw this hotel by chance, opp the Police station. Very near to the railway station. The room was small (just enough for two), but a bit pricey, considering the room size. it was clean. Adayar Anandha bhavan is attached to this hotel. But, if you want to have better food, then Gowrishankar is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. Wifi was not working.

Though The property is in crowded area, definitely not for family n leisure. Sad thing is they don't have their own restaurant or any other amenities. But rooms were fine n cozy. Room service was tough issue over there. Not sure if coming back.

I was travelling with my mother and two aunts and had over night stop over since this was one of the closest to Railway station. At around 3Am in the night while any normal person would be sleeping some drunkard man began knocking the room door. My mother asked who it was,he first said Room Service but we didnt order anything. He knocked again and said he was from CBI, now that was suspicious my mother was scared. We called the reception and they refused to come up. We four women were scared already. The man came up again and this time we thought he would break the door. I wanted to go out ti confront him but my mom didnt let me, this was one of the worst experience The lack of security for anyone unresponsive staff was just too much. Later we found out that this person was doing this to every room. Seems he forgotten his room number.

Stayed at this place for 2 nights on a business trip. First the positives about the hotel Economically priced rooms & located close to the railway station, prompt response to room service & maintenance calls, courteous staff. The negatives Not so good ambience, very basic budget rooms which do not have much space. Bedsheets were OK, though in my colleagues room, the bedsheets were stained with talcum powder used to cover the stains ! He had to change the room eventually. The toilets are stained all over. There was oil on the shower handle when I first entered & had to call housekeeping to get it cleaned. I did not get hot water in the bathroom. They have a solar water heater, it seems, which probably cannot cater to all rooms. On the second day, imagine my frustration when I found no water in the taps. The problem got fixed after multiple calls to housekeeping. The fan regulator did not work & there are only 2 settings.. on & off. The hotel uses an attached restaurant run by another management. Breakfast was very basic. The restaurant staff serving the breakfast was extremely rude. He even gesticulated & back-answered the owner when he was told to behave better with the guests. All in all.. a frustrating experience. Would not stay here again. There are other hotels in the neighbourhood with equally competitive rates & much better rooms.

Hotel is near Coimbatore Railway Station. They charges are very high not worth paying 2500 per night.Rooms are worth of Rs.1000 only to the maximum. Linens are neat and clean.Towels are not clean an old one.Bath rooms are the worst ever seen not clean amenities are very old. Worst than an local lodge. Not Recommended you will get good 3* hotel in city near by with better rates.
