We recently visited this cottage as a family of 5 adults and 2 kids. I must say we had a wonderful time at this cottage. Perfect place for a family as it gives a very homely environment. we preferred staying in the cottage rather than site seeing . Mrs Manal and her mother ensured we had a very comfortable stay and they are definitely a perfect host. Morning breakfast was very good especially the methi parathas with curd. Its a perfect stay cottage for a family and kids and i would definitely consider this as one of my best stay in coonoor

Located in a convenient place in Conoor, the views from the place are fulfilling. We had a lovely stay at Crossways ... we will definitely be going back every time we visit the hills!!! The tea and the breakfast was homely!!! A special mention to Manal ... who took care of our requests to the detail.

We were 6 friends with 3 small kids travelling to Crossways during the Christmas weekend of 2017. Since the time of booking, Mrs Manal, the owner with their own cottage near by, was patient and helped us out with all our queries. We located the cottage on our way from Coimbatore using Google Maps quite easily. The cottage was lovely and has a dining room, a sitting area, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths along with a kitchen. They have a small sit out area behind the cottage which offers a great view of the tea estates. We loved sitting here enjoying the view. It was pretty cold in the night and heaters were provided on request. The kitchen was well-equipped. Because of the long weekend holidays, we had a tough time with transport but as informed by Mrs. Manal Singh it is quite swift otherwise. The bus stop is right outside the cottage. The market for required amenities is close by (just a km away) and Mrs Manal also helped out with our requests for random items. She was very patient and proactively helped us out when she could. Their cook and caretaker was a very good lady - she arranged for delicious breakfast every morning and when we had issues with the gas stove and since it couldn't be repaired immediately due to the holiday season, she helped us out with our numerous requests with the kids food. Both the owners and the cook were very very helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We could only visit the tea estate at the Highfield property next door and the Mciver restaurant for lunch as we were pretty occupied with the kids. There was also a garden next to the owner's cottage which the kid's enjoyed in the morning sun. We were pretty wary of the house dog who is HUGE but we steered clear of him ;-) Coonoor overall is such a peaceful place with such amazing view of the Nilgiris. The mountain views are spell-binding. Definitely recommend the stay at Crossways if you need a break and want to simply enjoy time away from the busy city life and noise. It forces you to only relax and unwind. Thank you for the lovely holiday Mrs Manal :-) and we apologise if we had too many requests :-(

A quaint cottage with a nice view of the hills. The location is great - it's quiet and away from the bustle of the town, but near enough to be able to go into the town for a quick bite or even get food delivered! The cottage is big enough to accommodate 4 adults and a couple of kids. Liked the decor - antique furniture and fresh flowers. The carpets and bedcovers looked a bit dated though and could do with a change. A big shout out to the host Manal and the housekeeper for making our stay extremely comfortable - the breakfast spread was pretty good (we went with the continental option) and they even arranged bonfires for a small charge. The only problem we faced was that the cottage has limited reception for all networks except BSNL, and Wi-Fi is turned off after 10 pm. Overall had a very peaceful and comfortable stay.
